NEWS

As you all may have noticed, we have a new COM. Congrats to RA Demos on his appointment.

Because we are num under new management we will make some changes, but more about this in the Commanders Corner.

We have also a new FOA, it is Reaper.

The Intrepid COM, Wil Striker has been promoted to VA for his work as COM, also our congrats to him !

And something on my own, 2 of my newest XvT Battles are shortly to be announced, so if you own XvT, fly them as soon as they are out :)

SSL 2 Week 2

I have submissions from 6 of 8 (including me, Thomas is on leave) that’s not bad, but it also could have been better.

I must agree that the missions, uhm, were crappy :) But I must also say that I have a few outstanding points here on my list, from Rian, SavageAz and Calvin to be exact. I was soooo lousy :) Excellent work ppl ! I`m honestly impressed.
Detailed results will follow in the moment I have them on my desk.

About “Hellfire”

If you remember it, it used to be a ongoing plotline for an Inferno Battle. I must honestly say that I want to keep it TC intern (no DB :) ).
I change the concept of it. Everyone of you who wants to participate, send in a plotline for a little Mission with Inferno as main character.
The best submission wins an IS-BR AND I will make a Battle of all submissions.

Deadline: 04/30/03

And last but not least, we have a few ppl here that fly their ass off, so I will do following. If it gets approved by the TO, I will make a FCHG race, means, the Pilot with the most flown missions till the end of April wins an IS-BW.
The ones that climb more then, lets say 2 FCHG ranks earn an ISM.

So have fun ppl !!!!


Platform Competition

My old offer still stands, an ISM for completing the first 10 Battles of a Platform ! so you can get a maximum of 3 ISM's for cheap flying, go for it !
(Sidenote, just TIE-TC, XvT-TC, XWA-TC :) )

COMMANDERS CORNER

Hmmm,

Where shall I start ?
We got a new Commodore, and some people say that it was visible that I don`t like him :) Well, let me say that it was my disappointing that our WC didn`t got the Job that I let hang out. I`m sorry for that.
I will give the whole thing a try, and if I don`t like it I still can bitch against it ;)

You all got Demos’s welcome mail. Well, there are stil lthings that I have to sort out with him, but I think we finally found a base together.

Changes in Inferno.

Yes, I will do some small changes here.

The changes will look following way:

LCM Infamus will be assigned as new FL of Flight 3.

CPT Alimet will be assigned as 1-3.

I want to expalin this step. Alimet did an excellent work as FL. He reported in and he also did FL reports that I didn`t requested from him. That all together with his activity brought him up to CPT. But as sadly as it is, he can`t get promoted higher in his position. He is already CPT and I would never question his ability to lead, but it would also be a bit unfair if I keep him in the position while lower but also highly skilled pilots can`t get promoted.
Therefore I choosed Infamus as new FL, his activity during the past 5 months was always excellent.

Thomas and Rian, I can just ask you to be patient with me, we will get you 2 also up, but this will need a bit, but you are not forgotten.

I hope that noone feels ignored, because that isn`t the case. So keep up your good work !

On a little sidenote, exactly today I finish my 5th month as Inferno CMDR. I must say that this Wing is my home and that I feel damn good here. Thank you all for this !
