Sorry this is a few days late. I recently discovered that all human life is really a computer simulated dreamworld known simply as, "The Matrix". I've been practicing with all my cool new "bullet-time" powers, and fighting pesky dudes called "agents".

- Big news this week is that, according to the preliminary results released by LC Todbringer, Omega Squadron has once again taken the top spot in the latest combat run of the SSL. You guys rock, plain and simple. Keep this up and we'll bring home the trophy.

- We've had several shiny new medals handed out this week! First up, LC Ixion Deathbringer has been awarded the Palpatine's Crescent for his outstanding job with our uniforms. Nicely done, Ix!
- Secondly, MAJ Brandon has been awarded the Imperial Security Medal for all around coolness. Bran's always flying, and always talking. In fact, he's been doing more than his fair share of each for the last few months now. Keep up the good work, Brandon!
- And last (but certainly not least), congratulations are in order for CPT Night Grue, who has been awarded the Iron Star with Bronze Wings for his flying prowess during our recent competition with Sigma Squadron. Excellent job, Grue!
- Ras Kronar has changed his email address, so be sure to update your address book if you haven't already. Ras' new address : ras_kronar@yahoo.dk
- Speaking of Ras, he's been busy this last week putting together some Omega Squadron graphics. I'm attaching them for everyone to check out. These are still works in progress, but I like what I see so far, and I think you guys will too.
- Imperial Storm IV is on the horizon! The subtitle for this competition? "Sink the Sov!" It's going to be us vs. the rest of the fleet, i.e. the BattleGroups. Details are still being hammered out, but this is shaping up to be a wild fleet-wide competition. Get pumped, because TIE single player missions are going to be used much the same way they are in Operation : Outrageous Fortune.
- It was announced this week that Flight Members in non-elite squadrons can now be promoted to Commander. This doesn't really affect us in the elite squads all that much (since we have FM/COL's, and even one FM/GN), but it's a big deal for the other 95% of the fleet!
- Lastly, be sure to drop by the EH.ORG homepage and check out the new re-design. Spiffy ;-)

- Short and sweet. Our only active competition calls for you to fly FREE-TIE # 220 for CR#5 of the SSL! I'm attaching the mission, to save you that one step of downloading it yourself. Your last full day to fly is May 22nd; deadline is May 23rd. Compton has recently put out some good tips for the mission (Hint : print them out), but still, don't put this one off until the last minute.
