Tycho's Recruitment Spiel
As you may know, the wing's #'s are low. Therefore we (as a squadron) are going to work to build up our numbers until I get info from the WC on what we are going to do as a wing.
There are two or three steps to gaining members directly. (I'm not talking about "people joining because they saw how wonderful we are" recruitment. That has a place, but active recruiting and spreading our name around is what we plan to do.)
1. Recruiting cadets
2. Recruiting veterans who are on the RSVs.
3. Recruiting people from RL

Number 3 is the hardest, and I won't bother with that. If you want to, I applaud you, but I can't really think of a way to help you recruit friends.
The 2nd will have to be on your time. If you can think of someone that you know is not here, I urge you to contact them. We need any veterans we can get back.
The 1st way is what we'll concentrate on. Sunrider and I are organizing a system to keep it rolling smoothly. Basically we'll assign cadets to each member of the squadron (still being worked out, but I'll have it laid out by Wens.)
Lohr and Tiger. I really need your participation on this. It's only Sunrider and I, if you don't help us. All it requires is you to send a standardized email (5 minutes top) to someone a day. If you can't spare 5 minutes for the squadron, you may want to think again about being in Hammer. Lohr, I understand how busy you are with the website, but 5 minutes per day (less if you're already online and have a standarized email) is easy to handle. In fact, I can make your email for you to send out if you don't have time for it.
Yes, I know that this is fraught with failure. Sometimes the cadet won't respond. Other times they were hooked, or know who they are going to. How I look at it is, yes we may receive nothing from this. But if we do nothing, that's what we'll get anyways.
Please let me know how this sounds and if you have anymore suggestions. Let me know as soon as possible, because I'll be starting this Sunday/ Monday

This is gonna be a quick one...
Whooo...welcome back to another addition of...*drum roll* Sunrider's XO Report!!
Well people...what can I say...we need some pilots!! Fresh blood or old soggy veterans, as long as they're active!...we've recently gotten rid of a few pilots who were..well...dead I guess :P And now our main goal in Hammer is to attain new pilots...by ANY means neccessary, although we would prefer to have them alive :P
Me and Tycho have discussed this issue and well we've decided that most competitions will be put on hold (Tycho's note: we're cutting back on comps, but we want to take care of what we have now. They'll just be less of them, and more on your shoulders to help out the squad) until we can get ourselves some active killers..err...pilots, yes pilots. I'm currently working on a recruitment message we can use, and Tycho is looking into posting on MB's and keeping our website up to date so people will be able to know what Hammer is all about!
But listen people...just because our numbers are low, doesn't mean sh*t...I mean look as us, we've beaten two XWA wings already, with zero losses...as it's been said many times...it's about the quality, not the quantity!...and as far as i'm concerned, we're good quality pilots!
On another note...I was the only pilot in the wing to fly COM Kalar's "Finals Competition" which either tells me that the lot of you are lazy, or just didn't know about it :P Either way, I got an easy medal so i'm not complaining :P
Also...weekly meetings are back!!! *hears scattered applause accompanied by a cough* Yes, that's right...every Sunday one hour before the Tiecorps meetings are held, our very own meetings will be held in the Relentless channel...so be there...or be...rectangle??
And lastly...for those of you who haven't at least *looked* at Star Wars Galaxies, go do it...NOW!...I may be wrong people...but I firmly believe that Star Wars Galaxies is to be the future of the Emperor's Hammer...so check it out. -Fin-
