Ladies and Gentlemen of the Challenge.....

Over the last few days, after much discussion two decisions have been reached.

The first regarding Tornado Squadron, and the second myself.

After speaking with my two Flight Leaders, its been decided that Tornado Squadron is to be unofficially closed (ill leave it up to the WC and COM for how long). Both of my flight leaders wish to venture elsewhere into the fleet and i respect their decisions for doing so.

So what does that mean for me, after A Year and Four months as CMDR, i have decided to step down, letting either Tornado remain closed for the time being or new blood being selected and hoping they can breathe new life.

While i may not have done everything i wanted to as CMDR, times change, its time for me to move on, a year and four months is more than most manage in the TC now, and i loved all of it.

I leave Tornado's fate in the hands of the WC and COM.

Many of you may be asking what will happen to yours truly, after much soul searching, and wondering where to go, I've decided to return "home" to the first squadron i was ever in, and the ironic thing is that its now being run under the same CMDR who recruited me all those years ago. Tempest Squadron.

On Tornado's webpages and the like, the webpage will stay up as long as Ivan wishes, he is currently AWOL, so no idea there, I've got lots of Tornado files, pics, fics, etc which ill place available to download. The IRC channel will remain registered under INQ Rastyn and me, ill pass over access to the next CMDR when/if one is chosen, all are welcome in the channel at any time as its still an official EH channel.

Other than that i don't think there is any more to mention.

I thank all those who served under me, while we didn't manage to destroy every squadron in the fleet (we did a good job) we still had fun, which is the main thing and lets hope we are never forgotten.

This will be the last email i sign as Tornado CMDR,
