Kaph Squadron Weekly Report for 5-5-03

Kaph News:
Apparently on Friday afternoon someone made a rather rude statement about Kaph Squadron. For the sake of a happy utopia that is Wing IV I won't name them at all. I don't think saying their name is appropriate nor is it very becoming of a TIE Corps Officer. The Quote was simply:

"Kaph Squadron has 0% activity..."

I find this comment rather rude, since noone in this Wing bashes on another Squadron. As for our activity, Kaph squadron is always doing something. Granted we aren't Omega, and don't pump out 50 FCHG pts a week and fly 10 competitions a month but we do something. Kaph Squadron has been the best 2 months of my career, And you (my Kaph Squadron pilots) have been the best since I took command of the squadron. And so I ask you guys as pilots, to make it known that we are an active squad, to show them that we hold our own and can stick up for ourselves.

So....forget about that comment, it isn't true...be yourself, do what you do, and have fun. That's what we're here for.

In other news:
-LCM HicRic, the new Training Officer has brought up the idea of a TO competition held throughout May. We will more than likely be flying TIE-TC #208, I apologize to all of you how hate TIE (*looks at CPT Saris*) if this comp does well, we may choose to do it every month. So then next month we'll fly a XWA battle.
-Also I will be starting a Fiction comp held in the same way. Stay tuned for details on both Comps.
-SSL Round 4 is almost done yes? Or was it 5....anywayz you should by now have files for SSL. Please fly them if you get a chance.
