Sorry for yet another belated report, I've had my hands full of work this weekend. But enough with the excuses, and on with the report...

The past week has been quite controversial; on the positive side, I've received a steady supply of Squadron League and standard battle submissions from you guys, and even got some personal glory in the contest between the Wing V CMDR's and the WC "Rat Pack". On the other hand, our WC, MAJ Devin Taralis gone MIA and hasn't been reached for some time now. During his hopefully temporal absence, CPT BubbaX of Nun Squadron will be the Acting Wing Commander. I'd hate to see our wing lose another WC in a short period of time, but it's still early days. Anyhow :

Squadron News :

- I've been awarded an Iron Star - Bronze Wings (IS-BW) for the highest score in the competition between the Wing V CMDR's and the WC's of SSSD Sovereign.

- And, as stated above, WC Devin Taralis has gone MIA - more news as the situation develops.

- The Monthly Squadron Evaluations are also approaching rapidly...

- LCM Matheson - please contact me, as neither me or CM Ryan Chi'Cath haven't heard from you for a while now!

Current Events :

- SSSD Sov Squadron League Round #8 is still on, the deadline is 5 days away (July 4th). At this point, Mem has totalled 7 submissions (4 TIE, 2 XWA and 1 XvT). Now that CM Ryan Chi'Cath is also able to participate to the XvT section with LCM Dvader, we can pack even more punch! Too bad that the regular season is nearly finished...

- Once the Squadron League situation develops a bit further, we might have a squadron competition coming on - watch this space for details!
