The position of Wing XX WC is now open to applications with the following requirements:

Must have held the position of Squadron Commander for no less than four months and hold the rank of Captain or higher
Passed either SM/II or SM/III and be intimately familiar with all EH and TC regulations.
No HCI convictions within the past 18 months.
Be familiar with all three primary game platforms (TIE, XvT & XWA), single and multiplayer.
Must be a member of good standing in the Dark Brotherhood (command position not necessary).
Be able to deal with members at all levels, from the Flight Officer to Flight Members.
Be able to constantly monitor and motivate all members of the Wing.
Have plans for the long term activity of the Wing.
Applications must be received by Sunday 13th July and should be sent to Rear Admiral TK-2107 and Vice Admiral Khaen. The application should have the subject "Wing XX WC". Good luck if you choose to apply.

It seems several people, myself included, are still having a variety of problems with ehnet.org email accounts, whether it be sending emails or receiving. Please double check that your emails are getting through to recipients. The IO is aware of the problems and is working to resolve them soon.

Subjugator COM Selected

Following a successful stint as Wing XX Wing Commander, Lieutenant Colonel TK-2107 has been selected as the new ISD Subjugator Commodore and promoted to Rear Admiral. Congratulations!

Flight Office Banner Competition

Greetings folks. The Flight Office is in need of TWO new banners, one general banner for the front page and a second to replace the ageing link banner (aww). The main banner can be of any size (within reason) and the link banner should be ideally 400x50 pixels. Format must be gif, jpeg, psp or bmp and should be sent zipped to spellfire@btinternet.com by Sunday 6th July at the latest.

The creator of the winning entry of each banner type will receive an Iron Star w/ Gold Ribbon. An IS-SR will go to second, and an IS-BR will go to 3rd and 4th places.

Fiction/GFX Arena

As promised, here is the fictional interlude to Asp vs Krayt "A New Breed" (:P)

MAJ Phantom and RA Frodo June were standing around two tanks. One contained the body of CMDR/CM CrimsonFury. The other contained the body of CMDR/CM Joey C. Both were silent, unmoving, still.
"Wow, seeing Joey quiet for a change is weird' Frodo said. Phantom grinned.
'Your right there. Too bad these are clones and not the real deal.'
At this the door to the chamber flew open and the 'real deal' came in. Joey and Crim looked at their clones in shock. Joey spoke up,
'Phantom...?....June....? Why are we in those tanks?'
'Because the Intrepid isn't big enough for the both of you, so you have two weeks to prove which of you will stay as CMDR...bah, forget that, just battle each other to make me squeal in delight.' With that Frodo pushed a button and vented the two clones out into space, sending them splattering into the bridge of the nearby ISD Grey Wolf.

And it is done :P
