COMMANDERS ADDRESS
Good evening pilots, Our last few sortie's have been tiring and everyone deserves a rest. Of course this is an elite squadron and we shall rest when we die.
But enough of that, we are going to be alive for a long time I am sure. XVT and XWA week of wars are now over and I believe it is safe to say Gistenjunge will be finishing top tau pilot in both of these events, Even though delak will prolly be close in the XVT Section. So well done to Gist....
Angel and Goad continue to put impressive scores in for their missions and I am awaiting the return of malik to do the same. Big daddy is returning to active duty soon after testing Star wars galaxies for the last couple of months and COl janson is about to get his XWA and XVT CDs back. Things are looking up.

I am looking at squadrons to challenge in a small single player mission competition, I am hoping to challenge one of the EH elite squadrons this month, but in the mean time I thought I would give one of those line squadron thingies first shot. I have spoke to Vampire and Gimel commanders and i hope something will come out of it soon.
IF not I may run an internal competition just to hone our skills somewhat. I am also looking at multi players competitions as well, but I have to many gaps to fill in the MP flights at the moment. As always of you see anyone in our missions who impresses you , let me know.
Nice work this week pilots, I am still waiting for news of last months awards from the MSE from the flight officer, So more news on that soon.
Last but not least, I believe i have filled the last of the Single player places in flight II today. All that is left for me to do now, Is fill the 3 multi player places.. with that said i believe its angels round

TIE CORPS NEWS
Flight officer competitions
The first of these is the graphics competition, to design a main banner for the Flight Office (http://www.btinternet.com/~spellfire/fo.html) and/or a link banner for display on the TIE Corps site (similar in size to the existing one). Entries should be in either .jpg, .gif or .bmp format and sent to spellfire@btinternet.com zipped. The closing date for entries is Sunday 6th July.
The second competition is fiction orientated - it's a chance to write my INPR, to write the history of the Flight Officer to date. Submissions can be humorous or serious and the only criteria are that it be in good taste and have a decent amount of content (feel free to use the information on my History profile at http://www.emperorshammer.net/rosters/histrecord.asp?record=481). Submissions should be attached as either .doc or .txt files and sent to the above address by Sunday 13th July. After this date I'll post all entries up for viewing.
Both competitions are open to both Reservists and Active members, with awards ranging from the Iron Star - Gold Ribbon down to Iron Star - Bronze Ribbon. I might be able to swing a merit award or two for particularly good submissions.
Avenger Recruitment Competition

Have you ever thought you had what it takes to be an Avenger? Now's your chance to prove it! The first-ever Avenger pilot recruitment competition will begin July 7th. Open to both XvT and XWA divisions, this will pit the best MP pilots in the fleet against each other to win invitations to join the best. This is open to all pilots in the EH. IS-GWs will be awarded to top pilots in each division, IS-SW to 2nd place, and IS-BW to 3rd. The top finishers in each division, if not in Avenger already, >:P, will be invited to join. You do not have to accept the invitation to win the medals or participate.
There will be a round-robin to determine the top 8 finishers in each division, which will then battle double elimination to determine the top guns in each division! Enter by emailing eggpine@hotmail.com and letting me know what division you wish to enter. You may enter in both divisions if you wish. Enter by July 5th, and first-round matches will go out July 7th. Good luck to all!

Emperor's Hammer Mission Compendium hits 3000 missions online!!!

I have been waiting for this moment for a very long time. And now, my dream came true. 10 minutes ago, I have added 3000th mission to our mission compendium, and we have achieved another great milestone: 3000 missions online. Since I took over the TAC, I have set TAC3K as my primary objective. And, after 6 months, I have finally achieved it. Of course it would not be possible without hard work and dedication of entire Tactical Staff, and Tactical Officers before me. I would like to thank the following people:
Former Tactical Officer: SA Kawolski and HA Striker, FA Starlion
Former Tactical Coordinators: Drako, Gord Darkonian, Tissaya Argat, Mark Schueler, Pellaeon, Enahropes, CrazyR2 (and all those I forgot)
My Tactical Staff: Philo, Styles, Apophis Kuma and Master (your cookies are inbound)
And all people who supported me by testing and correction and of course submitting new battles and free missions
I really appreciate your hard work and I herby set another goal for my office: TAC5K! When will we hit it? I have no idea. It took me 6 months to release 700 missions, so we will see. And now, let's celebrate!!!! Drinks on me!!!
