XWA Mission Tutorial
The new XWA Custom Mission Tutorial site is now up. Written
by VA RogueWing, it shows detailed steps on how to create new custom missions
for XWA. Each step includes pictures for easy reference. This site was written
for people who have never done any mission editing before, and should be fairly
easy to follow. It can be found at http://www.minos.net/~immortal/noob/index.html
Emperor's Hammer Mission Compendium hits
3000 missions online!!!
I have been
waiting for this moment for a very long time. And now, my dream came true. 10
minutes ago, I have added 3000th mission to our mission compendium, and we have
achieved another great milestone: 3000 missions online. Since I took over the
TAC, I have set TAC3K as my primary objective. And, after 6 months, I have
finally achieved it. Of course it would not be possible without hard work and
dedication of entire Tactical Staff, and Tactical Officers before me. I would
like to thank the following people:
- Former Tactical Officer: SA Kawolski and HA Striker, FA Starlion
- Former Tactical Coordinators: Drako, Gord Darkonian, Tissaya Argat, Mark
Schueler, Pellaeon, Enahropes, CrazyR2 (and all those I forgot)
- My Tactical Staff: Philo, Styles, Apophis Kuma and Master (your cookies
are inbound)
- And all people who supported me by testing and correction and of course
submitting new battles and free missions
I really appreciate your hard work and I herby set another goal for my
office: TAC5K! When will we hit it? I have no idea. It took me 6 months to
release 700 missions, so we will see. And now, let's celebrate!!!! Drinks on
me!!!

News:
Welcome to the 34th Vampire Weekly
Squadron Report. This week has been pretty slow...not too surprising considering
its holiday time here. Beer, boats, and explosive ordinance...hehe. But some
flying did get done. And the detailed results of the 7th Round of the Sov Squad
League were mailed out. There has been some discussion on the message boards
about those squadrons flying on multiple platforms. Good thing we're only signed
up for XWA Division :) Citations are steadily increasing...last week we
were at 65, this week we're up to 68. Good work to those of you who're flying!
And lastly, the winner of the Vampire Grudge Match: Aliens vs. Boba Fett is: CM
Kane Reese! Congrats. Your medal has been rec'ed. Congrats to Kane and Mosh on
both of their excellent submissions. It was a tough choice.
Other
News:
Several stink bombs were detonated in
Vampires barracks this week. After washing all the linens, and hosing the place
down...they still stink :/ After reviewing the security cams...the culprit
is believed to be a pilot from Ghost Squadron. Mosh's Gundark must have a
sensitive nose...its been howling all week, and we've had to have him moved to
the docking bay.

Sov Squad League: I'm
not gonna tell anyone else to fly for Round 8. I've got 6 submissions right now.
If anyone who hasn't flown it wants to...get it into me by early tonight,
EST...and i'll see where it should go. Otherwise, i'm happy with the
participation we have at the moment. But, the 1st Playoff Round has been
announced. NOTE: for these Playoffs and Finals, XWA BATTLES are
being used. NOT Free Missions. Just wanted to warn
those of you who didn't know. The assigned Battle is: XWA-DB 4. The Due
Date is Tuesday, July 15th...a few days EARLIER than usual...because
the SSL Coordinators will be going on leave shortly after the due date. I've got
a plan for the finals...i'll be emailing the squadron privately with the
details.

Once again, the honor of BSoW goes to LT
Nurgas Hui, who's been a flying machine since he showed up. He's been flying all
the citation battles i've been assigning. Great work Nurgas, keep it up...2 more
for an ISM.
I know that most of you probably aren't
happy about flying battles for the playoffs and finals of the Sov Squad
League...but like i said, stick with me here...i've got a plan that should still
lead us to victory. Good work this week to all who flew. Citations are
consistently going up, and we're only 32 away from my goal of 100. For those of
you celebrating the 4th of July, have fun...but not TOO much fun. For those of
you who aren't celebrating it...go out and have one on me...just because you
