Commentary:
We are doing well and our activity has been very good. We did not make playoffs but that has not dampened our drive to continue on. Let us back our brethren who are still going strong!

There has been some rumours about inner squadron recruiting. This is strictly forbidden EXCEPT by elite squadrons. Omega and Preatorian squadrons are two of them. The rules for them are contact the pilot's next two superiors (i.e. CMDR and WC). If any of you contact another squadron I will quite literally fry you in butter and serve you as the next main course at a banquet for our Commodore's honour. If you are contacted by any squadron whatsoever and I am not CC'ed as well as Mike, report it immediately. This is in violation of the recruiting rules. If you want to leave, just tell me and the reason why...

The only reason I bring this up is because of all the stink over cadet recruiting. You may do only the following:

a) introduce yourself and where you are from (I am Major Talons Pryde, the commander of Alpha squadron)
b) offer help if they need it (I would be more thasn happy to help you if you are having troubles completing your training)
c) give them e-mail addresses to yourself and your superiors (My e-mail is ... and my wing commander is Mike Chistu of wing I on the SSSD Sovereign. Our commodore is Proton. We would be more than happy to help if you need it. Feel free to contact any of us)
d) a friendly closing with full ID line (Good luck in your training; Thank you for your time; look forward to seeing you in the fleet)

ANYTHING OUTSIDE OF THESE GUIDELINES IS STRICTLY FORBIDDEN!!!!!!!! Be smart, CC your superiors on every contact. I suggest no more than 3 cadets at a time. This means you have 3 cadets you have contacted and are watching to help when necessary. Remember to only offer help -- do NOT tell them or even hint at joining a squadron or ship. Just identify where you come from. For a very good example of how to do this, I will refer you to Colonal Janich of Omega. He was my first flight leader and he offered help and I took it. He and Sarriss were instrumental in me joining Alpha. And they only offered the help I needed.

I am hoping to update the web site. I would like to have stories of your characters and a comprehensive flight journal of your time here in the TC. Flight journals are best accomplished by using flight records to show your flights.

Well that is the last of what I have to say. So... bring me the horizon -- and bad eggs. Drink up me hardies, Yo Ho!
