Squadron News
We are still making a showing in the SSL 2003 competition. Here are the current results as of
SSL Week 6:

We have dropped one notch in the Tie Fighter Division, but we are still in the top 20. We could
pull this up greatly if more would fly. These are free missions guys and not very difficult. TF 221
is due for Week 7 and can be turned in by June 19.

Please do so if you have not already. This is a new forum for our squadron to post messages,
keep in touch, discuss new events in the squadron and to post a squadron run-on. I’d like to see
more activity from all of you now that the summer is upon us.

I am moving in real life and will be out of touch this weekend until approximately Tuesday or
Wednesday next week.

I am looking for an XO. Any interested parties should contact me. Position requirements include
flight and communications activity, report writing, passing of IWATS S/M 3 and genuine interest
in taking a command position sometime in the future.
This does not mean you have to already have taken or passes IWATS S/M 3 but that you will
need to if you are chosen.

Old Business

Ok, guys. Our esteemed Wing Commander is announcing a new competition for this month,
entitled Steal the Booze Now!

The object is simple, come up with the most ingenious way to steal the
booze away from our beloved COM, AD Proton. Submissions can take any
form: fiction, run-on, TIE battle, JK level, crazy Incredible Machine(for
those that remember the game) contraption, even a map layout with your
plan for execution. Let your mind run wild here, guys! Steal the Booze
Now! The competition will run from now until the end of the month. Good
luck!

Competitions. The following are still ongoing.

#1 Recruiting Competition:

It's quite simple. Wing I members are to recruit new members into our wing and even into their
squadron. The winner will be decided on a point system. For recruiting outside of the
EH(Dadaelus, Pheonix, subgroups) a pilot will earn 1 point. For recruiting anywhere else, the
pilot earns a bonus point, thus giving them two points. The recruiter with the most points will win
the IS-SR(awarded by LC Mike Chistu) and the runner-up will receive an IS-BR.

#2 SSL 2003 Competition.

It began on March 15. It is a Sovereign wide competition.

Week 7:

TIE Fighter Division: TIE-FREE #221 - the Relentless COM's Honour Guard;
XvT Division: XvT-FREE #118 - ASF: ESC Corrupter;
XWA Division: XWA-FREE #102 - The ultimate psy-war weapon.

The deadline is 20th of June.
