Greetings, everyone! It's time for the weekly report again, and for once it comes out in time! The biggest news of the past week was the announcement of the SSSD Sovereign Squadron League playoff pairs. Mem made it to the playoffs in each game category, great work from all you guys! Now it's our responsibility to uphold the honour of Wing V against squadrons like Omega and Diamondback...
Besides that, our new WC COL Gen Es'mith has continued to settle down and take the reigns of the wing fully in his hands. Right now he's on a mini-leave until Sunday night. But, without further ado:
Squadron News :
- LCM Dvader is the new Mem Squadron Communications Officer and webmaster, as he took over the task of upgrading and maintaining the Mem website. He's about to completely revamp the site, so stay tuned for something special!
Other Stuff :
- As I've said before, once the Squadron League finishes (and hopefully we'll continue it to the end!), there will be one or two internal squadron competitions coming along.
Current Events :
- SSSD Sov SL Playoffs Round #1! Battles are TIE-TC #169, XWA-DB #4 and XvT-TC #75, deadline July 15th. We face Omega and Diamondback, so keep your aim sharp and get a maximum amount of points! At the moment we stand at 5 submissions (2 TIE, 2 XWA, 1 XvT).
- The Summer Patrol rages on, and CM Ryan Chi'Cath has already completed the Week 3 mission assignments. Check the competition info at http://users.pandora.be/dweezil/patrol/
