CMDR’s Thoughts:
It goes without saying that I have never seen anyone get so many medals in one week as Rekio did! And since the Asp Squadron bar tab is on him for the rest of the month, I’ll make sure to throw in my order for a case of Corellian Ale and Whiskey to be sent to my office ASAP! :P
Of course I wouldn’t want to make LT Cuhorn think I forgot about him, so I’ll just order a bottle of Alderaan Spice Rum to save him a few credits. LOL
Congratulations to LT Cuhorn for his promotion to LT! And to LT Corsair for attempting to break the record for the most medals received in a week! ;)

Wing/Ship News:
Ø The Tactical Office needs Tactical Surveyors (TCS, playtesters) and Tacticians (TCT, correctors) for the XWA game platform. Interested personnel should first read the Tactical Manual before applying to verify the position requirements. All applications should be sent to Lieutenant Colonel Marcin Szydlowski (pbmike@klub.chip.pl) and Captain Gord Darkonian (darkwingvader@hotmail.com). These are auxiliary positions, which means you will not need to leave your current assignment in order to fill one of these positions.
Ø The Tactical Office reports some minor technical difficulties regarding processing high scores for the XvT and XWA pilot files. FA Striker reports that the problem should be sorted out soon.
Squadron Commander’s Orders:
Ø All pilots that have not yet reported in to LC Striker need to do so immediately.
Ø All pilots are required to dress in the new Standard Duty Uniform. If you are unable to create your own uniform contact LC Striker ASAP and he will make you a new uniform. Templates for the new Standard Duty Uniform are available at: http://www.uwinnipeg.ca/~howlader/ops/archive.htm
Ø A Squadron Readiness Exercise is now in effect. All pilots will complete one or both of the following battles no later than 10.31.01: XvT-TC #10 and XWA-TC #19. All pilot files must be submitted no later than 10.31.01 in order to be counted for the Readiness Exercise. This is a training tool for the CMDR to gauge the Squadrons ability to participate in future competition events.
Ø All pilots will be evaluated on their performance over the next two weeks in order to determine criteria for future promotions and awards. FL’s will assist with supplying recommendations and information relating to recent activity on each FM.
Ø All pilots are encouraged to fly all of the XvT-TC Battles to earn us even more Battle Citations! We are now up to 10 Citations!!

Borrowing from MAJ Idaho, all pilots of Asp Squadron are invited to fly all of the XvT-TC Battles that they can in order to win the Squadron more Battle Citations. The Battle Citation list will be kept updated weekly so that everyone can see the progress we are making in winning more citations. If everyone flies ALL of the XvT-TC Battles then we will easily have a total of 17 Battle Citations from that platform alone! So lets get to it and win some citations!!
