Squadron News

- We celebrate two anniversaries - MAJ Ixion has reached 2 years and COL Darth Vader is at 5!
- Both Tiberius and Monaghan are being transferred to the Reserves.
- Wolly makes a triumphnat return to duty and takes up roost at Omega 3-4!
- Ixion is being promoted to FL of Flight 2 and Kramer is moved to Omega 3-3 to be wingmates with Wolly.

- Mascot Power Battles has started. Check the website for current competition status.
- November Top Gun has started. Everyone needs to get TIE Free #137 into me by November 9th
- Upcoming competition with Mu Squadron. Starts on the 10th - be ready!

Who lit the fire under his ass?

I have no idea what happened, but your dear old commander has been out picking fights. We've just started the first round of the Mascot Power Battles. Our jerk of a bartender, TK-1512 is in for one heck of a beating against those younger, nastier beasties of the Sov Wings, but I think he's got a few dirty tricks up his sleeves. He'll go down swingin' that's for sure.

We'd tried to set something up with Yod but that fell through for now. Maybe in a while we'll be able to take them on. But right now we've got a little internal action going with a Top Gun comp. Now with a couple of new guys we can see who the best really is. And right after that we get to set our sights on Mu Squadron. Their CMDR caught me on IRC so it will be our top 3 scores against his with the top score getting and IS-BW.

You also might have noticed some changes going on. Yes, the roster is in a bit of a fluid state right now. Tibs will be leaving us, but we await word from him with the details. I have also moved Monaghan to the Reserves. He has been an excellent member of Omega, but his inactivity was hard to overlook. But to help balance the bad, we welcome GN Wolly into the fold and Ixion will take over Flight Leader duties for Flight 2. Congratulations!

It'd be great if everyone could use this change as a source of motivation to get some flying done or work on some other EH-related projects. We all have our flight assignments from Ixion, so get to it!
