Commentary:
I AWOL’ed Captain Boshevki earlier this week. When I sent out the message, he replied with an “Oh well”. The reply was less than 5 minutes later. Gentlemen, if you do not want to be in this squadron, tell me and I will have you transferred out. I felt very insulted and hurt by this act of contempt. I forwarded his exact reply to the wing commander and Commodore. With all the real-life pressure of a new job, and my fight with a severe migraine, I was not amused by the Captain’s words. Please be frank with me as I have been with you. We are now down to four pilots. My RL obligations do not permit me to engage in an extensive recruiting drive. LCM Blaine has been making several contacts (although I would prefer being CC’d on them) with cadets and reservists. I would suggest doing the same.
So far, I have yet to receive the assigned battles for the month from any of you (Vector has been excused – he previously flew them) and they are due Sunday night. The battles are TC-77 & 78 – the Verpine Encounters… Fly them and get them to me ASAP.
A time change is set for our monthly meeting this coming Saturday. I have to work from 5pm to the end of the rush. This will get me home around 9pm. I am giving the wing CMDR’s and the squadron a choice – Noon or 10pm. Reply by Wednesday to confirm. If you are not going to be able to attend (I am talking to you Alpha’s) I need to know the reason why by that same day. It is going to be on AIM. All CMDR’s are encouraged to attend as well as our WC and Commodore. Please let me know if you will by Wednesday (the 3rd). All Alpha’s that do not attend and give no notice will be placed on “activity warning”. You will need to report in by the 10th to be removed from such status. If not, you will be placed on the inactive list until August at which time you will be AWOL’ed if I hear nothing from you. The AoW state that I must give you 30 days before AWOL. I give 45. I understand how real-life can interfere with my plans and will not hold that against you. Just keep me posted on your situation as I expect real-life to come first for all my pilots.
I need someone to be my XO. The XO must have the proven ability to do weekly reports and if need be a monthly report and evaluation in the event of my absents. So far, I have no one able to fill this requirement. Both Captains Killer and Vector have yet to send me a monthly flight report. I need them yesterday. I hesitate to take leave on such grounds. Get me those reports. Tell me your plans for your flight. Even if you are alone, act as if you have a full flight and are speaking to them every month. Hell, humor me! Send me those reports. I need them on the second to last day of the month so I may send a full monthly report to our Wing Commander…

Respectfully,
Alpha Squadron Commander,
CMDR/MAJ Talons Pryde/Alpha/Wing I/SSSD Sovereign/PCx3/ISMx3/MoI/MoT-1rh/MoC-1BoC/CoB/OV [CNTR] {IWATS-CBX-GFX-IIC/1/2-SM/2-TM-TT}.
