...ok, forget I said that... Another eventful week in Sadhe, with high activity from everyone, and another new pilot! Everyone, welcome SL Talon Virgilio! Soon to be LT, as soon as the FO aproves.


Hunter's Wise Words of the Week....well, they're not really wise words, just a "brief" e-mail conversation that LT BubbaX and I had this afternoon. Should be funny...well, at least to me it is.. This started with Bubba complaining about this office as FL, and me telling him that it's bigger that my broom closet when I was FL, and it turned into him pretty saying I'm old...so, here it is!

"MAJ Hunter: ::hobbles around on his walker, pulling his oxygen tank and IVs behind him, and unconsciously moving his mouth in a chewing motion::

Why, back in my day, we didn't have all these fancy-dancy shield systems on our starfighters... If we wanted to stop a laser blast, we had to climb out and smack it away with a baseball bat..now, THAT is starfighter combat right there, not all this.........ZZZZZzzzzZzzzzzZZZzzzz......

..zz..zzZZzz...*wakes up* Geh--now, where was I?...oh yes.. ::looks at his watch:: ....

Nurse! It's time for my hourly sponge bath!

No, it wasn't just ten miles, uphill, both ways...it was 20 miles, uphill, both ways, in 30 feet of snow with no shoes, socks, or pants...now THAT creates character, let me tell you.....Zzzz.zzzzzz.zzzzz

MAJ Hunter: You have no idea, sonny....the supply people would spend millions of credits on bats alone. But, we could only fit so many bats in the TIEs, so you'd run out pretty damned quick and then you'd sh!t yourself when you realized that you were screwed.

-Comps galore! Sicky's got his usual butt-load of Wing comps going, and I want everyone to participate in at LEAST one. Hell, even I'M gonna get in on the action!
-Also, I'm going start a Sadhe comp in the next week or so. What is it, you ask? Well, I want to design a new squadron patch! Not only for the uniforms, but also so I can have one made and I can sew it onto my BDU shirt in RL. Winner will get a medal of some sort.
