Commander's Thoughts
Welcome to another smashing edition of Hornet news and events. We have done it once again guys, WC's Own for July. I knew you could do it. I want to personally thank each of you for your hard work and dedication in making Hornet number one. Lets keep it up and make it 2 in a row...Carry on !!

Squadron News:
-We have yet another Fchg Race for the month of August going on...I have challenged each and every one of you to beat my Fchg gain total..it will be worth a good medal to you if you accept the challenge.
-We now have 24 citations which is better, you will be receiving battle requests, so please take them seriously because it will help us gain more cits very quickly.
-All our new offices are now in effect, so ill list the guys new section and the respective officer for that office. I have requested them to add something to the WSR everyweek to let us know what they are up to and just to have more opinions in here than mine so I hope it all works like I plan.

Wing/Ship News:
-We have a new Wing Commander, LC Tarkin. Tarks is a Veteran of the TC and as such should be given a warm welcome and congratualtions on his promotion. I am sure he will do a fine job in his new post.
-TopDog competion round two results are pending. I look foward to seeing who will emerge the champion. Hopefully Hornet will do better at the next TD.

OFFICERS SECTION: I received no reports this week...very disappointing.

Executive Officer(XO)-LCM Jer Stryker
Well we're all pretty busy lately I can tell, but let's all try and do what we can. I imagine the rest of the Vanguard is in the same boat we are, so even if we fly a little less we may still get WC's own this month as long as we keep pushing. There is a runon started a week ago on our sharp-looking message board that nobody has added to yet. I am also guilty of this and I apologize to you all. For those of you who have never participated in a runon before, it is a lot of fun. Just make something up, even a sentence or two. Remember that when you're posting you have complete control of where the story goes, so just have fun with it. Also, the Fleet Commander's birthday is this month, so polish up those medals. Hornet needs to look its best, so I would like to see up-to-date full dress uniforms displayed all month if you can.

Tactical Officer(TAC)-LCM Jer Stryker
Well, activity has dropped off quite a bit recently and my inbox is no longer flooded with BSFs. We have dropped back to third in the wing as far as how many citations we have, so please try to do at least one of your assigned battles this week and get us back up to second place. We currently have 24 citations, Python has 27, and Mantis has 30, so we're not too far behind.

Combat Operations Officer(COO)-LT Vir-Syn Gahl
Well we are not exactly sure of our Mp activity for the week as the COOA has been on vacation and as such no battle results have been posted to the database. Hopefully by the following week all will be back to normal. Until then keep flying as much Mp as you can and represent Hornet the way we all know Hornet does.

Communications Officer(COM)-CM Optimus
The website is coming slowly but surely. Everything seems to have calmed down in the communications sector. Our use of our MB has also decreased which is not good. There is currently a runon going on, so go add to it on the message board and make it an awesome story.

Recruitment Officer(RO)-LT Cybershadow
Not much happening in the area of recruiting over the past few weeks. Although membership in the TC has been up over the past while, it seems to have reached the peak for a bit. Only a few recruits have joined this week and every squadron is scrambling to snatch them up. Try to get on the zone and meet a few new people and get them to join the Tc and point them in our general direction.
