Avenger Squadron News:

Once again I write this report on Saturday because I have spent the last five days in the field doing Army stuff. The next two weeks I will be at the computer every day of the week!

Avenger Squadron has 224 Citations! This is an Avenger Record and it also makes us the second ASF Squadron to have over 220 Citations! Congrats to all of you on your fine Single Player Flying!

XVT TAA is taking place on the Zone right now. I know that this is not exactly our cup of tea, but fly at it if you want. Next Friday begins XVT WoW!

Congrats to Major Pellaeon! Pell has been in Avenger almost as long as myself and is very deserving of this promotion. Currently I have a request for two more promotions in this squadron, hopefully we will get them!

Wing XIV Wing Commander Wil Striker has been promoted to the Rank of General! Congrats!

Avenger Squadron is currently looking for two pilots to join the squadron. These pilots will be held to the highest standard of any Avenger Recruits yet. We should be in no hurry to replace our open slots because we have the ability to take whoever we want!

- There are currently several competitions running at the Squadron
level, the Battlegroup level, and the Fleet-wide level. Avengers should participate in as many of these as possible.

Competitions:
- #ehcoc MP Events
Several Multiplayer Competitions take place weekly in #ehcoc. You can find a schedule of competitions at The Combat Office .
- Avenger 1 on 1 Tournament
Over 30 Pilots have entered the Avenger 1 on 1 tournament. Second round action is at a stand still until I can send out email to the competitors. More to come soon!
- XVT Week of War: WoW begins next week. You can fly at the Tie Advanced Comp this week. Info can be found at Battlestats or on theZone.
All Avengers should participate at these!
Battlegroup
Competitions:
- BGCOM's ASF War Admiral Cyric and the ASF Flag Staff are currently designing an Imperial Storm Style War Game that will feature the ASF. This competition will place the ASF Star Destroyers against one another with Avenger Squadron serving as a New Republic/Rebel Forces. More details to come!
- ASF Recruitment Competition! Admiral Cyric is hosting a Recruitment competition in the ASF. Recruit!
Avenger Competitions:
- Avenger Iron Star Competitions Each month Avenger Hosts Six Iron Star Competitions. The Competitions consist of: FCHG-The Pilot who gains the most FCHG in a month, CR-The Pilot who gains the most CR in a month, Avenger Ace-The Pilot who earns the most Pilot of the Week awards in a month, Trivia-The Pilot who answers the most trivia questions in a month, Graphics-The pilot who submits the best graphics in a month, Beat The CMDR-The Pilot who beats the CMDR in a head on MP match.
- New Flight Names
If you can design new flight names, that I like, you will win a Iron Star. Flight One will not be renamed.
- Recruitment
Avenger Pilots will be awarded a Iron Star Bronze Ribbon for recruiting new Pilots!

CMDR's Thoughts
Pilot of the Week Pell: Pell flew a good amount of SP this week and added a citation to the squadron! Trivia: Name the Fighter of the three other elite Squadrons!
- First of all we must talk about the Avenger record of 224 citations. This is an amazing feat, even if we were hand selected. Avenger is a primary MP squadron, the fact that we have 224 citations is a credit to all of the pilots in the squad. Yes we did gain 50 citations because we lost a pilots, but we will not lose very many when new ones join!
- I know that school has begun for many of you. If you need leave or your activity is going to drop, then just contact me and let me know.
- I want all MP capable pilots to be flying at this coming XVT WoW. CM Brian led the EH in Wins at the last WoW, I would like to have Avenger place first, second, and third in wins at this WoW.
