Greetings, everyone!
This week saw some changes in our squadron. Last week, when I ended my leave and returned to active duty, the things were a bit messed up. FO Eric O'Flynn had gone AWOL, LCM Felagund (who was supposed to be the Acting CMDR) retired and so on. But enough of this, let's get on with the report!
Squadron News :
- As said before, LCM Felagund decided to retire and he has been deleted from the TIE Corps rosters.
- With Felagund's retirement, a new Flight Leader for Flight II was needed. LT B.J. Morgan, being the pilot with most experience in this squadron, was chosen for this duty. I'm sure he'll do well, as soon as he gets some pilots!
- The Wing V Competition #4 results were published this week. The top dog was, once again, CPT Monaghan of Nun squadron. I finished in second, for the third successive time! One for ISM for me...There were only 2 participants from our squadron this time, so I'm quite pessimistic with the WC:s Own staying with us. LT Morgan did a good job nevertheless, finishing in the fourth place.
- And finally...the TIE Corps now have a new Flight Officer: AD Kessler. Let's just hope that his reign will last longer than a few months!
Other Stuff :
- The Monthly Evaluation time is coming, once again. So, if you want credit for your "other activities" , send me a report about them. (OA:s included IRC meetings, online comps. and duels etc.)
Ongoing Events :
- SSSD Sovereign October/November comp. results haven't been published yet, or at least I haven't seen them yet. That's almost two weeks from the final comp. day!
- Training Office comp. #4 will be over soon, just a few more days. I'm about to send in my .tfr file for the TIE Fighter part, as the 25 % participation from a squadron means 1 submission in our case. Should you complete the battle, I need your .tfr file by tomorrow evening, 28th November.
