- SQUADRON NEWS -


  • Regular season of Sovereign Squadron League is over and Diamondback did an excellent overall work! Imust say I expected a better participation in Round #8 but I also understand that you also needed a pause after seven turns of combat in a row! By the way, we advance to XvT and XWA playoffs while for TIE Fighter division we are to wait final results of Round #8 as it is possible some squadron stole us 8th place. If we don't qualify for TIE playoffs it isn't a big problem because our first priority is to win the XvT division and since in playoffs we will fly battles instead of free missions we had to scratch one platform from our objectives anyway.
  • COM Frodo and WC Phantom have created the Intrepid Activity competition. This will be a sort of WIng-wide Supremacy Comp where pilots and squadrons earn point for activity. To earn points you may fly SP battles, participate at the MP ladder or pass IWATS courses. You will find full details at: http://www.emperorshammer.net/competitions/details.asp?ID=676
  • Diamondback got 11 new citations this week and the new total is 271! We're only 29 citations away from the 300 mark. Scroll down to the Citations Report and see what battles have been assigned to you. Fly them, you will earn FCHG points and help your squadron to reach citations again.

  • We have a new Executor in our squadron! Congratulations to LCM Zhaim Jifarr for breaking the 750 FCHG points (he now has 788 to be more precise :p). Drinks are on you!

  • Communications have dropped a bit during the last weeks. There're some pilots in the squadron who stay in contact with me regularly, unfortunately there're also some pilots who failed to report in for a while! I'd like to hear something from this people and know the reason of their sudden idleness.

  • XWA Mission Tutorial

     The new XWA Custom Mission Tutorial site is now up. Written by VA RogueWing, it shows detailed steps on how to create new custom missions for XWA. Each step includes pictures for easy reference.   • Emperor's Hammer Mission Compendium hits 3000 missions online!!!

     I have been waiting for this moment for a very long time. And now, my dream came true. 10 minutes ago, I have added 3000th mission to our mission compendium, and we have achieved another great milestone: 3000 missions online. Since I took over the TAC, I have set TAC3K as my primary objective. And, after 6 months, I have finally achieved it. Of course it would not be possible without hard work and dedication of entire Tactical Staff, and Tactical Officers before me. I would like to thank the following people:
    • Former Tactical Officer: SA Kawolski and HA Striker, FA Starlion
    • Former Tactical Coordinators: Drako, Gord Darkonian, Tissaya Argat, Mark Schueler, Pellaeon, Enahropes, CrazyR2 (and all those I forgot)
    • My Tactical Staff: Philo, Styles, Apophis Kuma and Master (your cookies are inbound)
    • And all people who supported me by testing and correction and of course submitting new battles and free missions
    I really appreciate your hard work and I herby set another goal for my office: TAC5K! When will we hit it? I have no idea. It took me 6 months to release 700 missions, so we will see. And now, let's celebrate!!!! Drinks on me!!!

ISD-II Intrepid Activity Comp!

Start Date (mm/dd/yy): 7/1/2003 
End Date (mm/dd/yy): 8/25/2003 

Medals to be Awarded: IS-SW to Top MP Pilot IS-SW to Top SP Pilot IS-SR To Top IWATS IS-SR To Top Fiction and Graphics IS-BWs and IS-BRs for second places respectfully. Top winning Squadron gets the title of WC's Own, Top Pilot gets the title of COM Protector.
 
Miscellaneous Information: For Every mission flown, one (1) point is awarded to the pilot who flew it. Every fiction sent to the Intrepid Flags gets between 1 and 5 points (up to the Flag's discretion.) 3 points for every Iwats course passed. NO POINTS FOR HIGH SCORES. In addition a Ladder is going on, every ladder loss is worth two points, and every Ladder Win is worth 3. In the end, the pilot with the most points for each section gets an IS-SW or IS-SR (depending the Section) and IS-BW and IS-BR for seconds.
