Asp Squadron Report 11.10.01
CMDR’s Thoughts:
Once again I am very disappointed with the overall activity, or lack of actually, in Asp. I guess its time to remind everyone, except those that have shown recent activity, that you joined the TC and Asp of your own freewill. And the idea behind joining was to be active and a part of this squadron. We all have a chance to have a lot of fun, but this will only be accomplished if everyone takes the time to be active, participate, and keep in communication. I don’t mean contacting the CMDR once a week by email, mIRC, etc. I mean by talking to your fellow squad mates by email, mIRC, the message boards, etc. to get to know one another. Find out what your mates like to do for fun in the TC. Maybe get together and learn some new MP skills, create a mission or battle together, or just hangout and chat online. Your only going to get out of this squadron and club what you personally put into it. If you put absolutely nothing into it, then that is what you’ll get. We aren’t about to hand out promotions and medals to people that just sit around. If you want to have more fun, receive medals, receive promotions, and basically spruce up that new uniform, then give me a reason to make this happen. I can’t ask the FO or OPS to give these things without having a reason to ask for them. So I need your help to make this possible. There are several people in this squadron who are overdue for a promotion, but with the lack of activity from them since I took command, I can’t ask for the promotions. So as Tom Cruise said in ‘Jerry McGuire’, “help me, to help you!” I know, sounds corny, but it’s true. I can’t help you get those promotions and medals unless you help me by giving me a reason to give them.

Squadron Commander’s Orders:
Ø All pilots that have not yet reported in to LC Striker need to do so immediately.
Ø All pilots are required to dress in the new Standard Duty Uniform during duty hours, and acquire the new Ceremonial Dress Uniform for special occasions. If you are unable to create your own uniform contact LC Striker ASAP and he will make you a new uniform. Ø A new Squadron Readiness Exercise is now in effect. All pilots will complete as many of the XvT-TC and XWA-TC Battles as they can no later than 11.30.01. All pilot files must be submitted no later than 11.30.01 in order to be counted for this Readiness Exercise. I encourage every pilot in Asp to fly as much as possible during the month of November!

Battles to fly:
Borrowing from MAJ Idaho, all pilots of Asp Squadron are invited to fly all of the XvT-TC Battles that they can in order to win the Squadron more Battle Citations. The Battle Citation list will be kept updated weekly so that everyone can see the progress we are making in winning more citations. If everyone flies ALL of the XvT-TC Battles then we will easily have a total of 17 Battle Citations from that platform alone! So lets get to it and win some citations!!
