Multi-Player Competitions
Just a reminder to everyone that the TC sponsors a number of MP comps each week where you can win some cool LoC’s, as well as additional points for your FCHG rank! I encourage everyone in Asp to try to take part in at least one comp each week. Show your support for Asp, Wing XIV, and the TC and participate!
Wing XIV Theme Song

EH Anniversary Awards
It’s that time of the year again for the CoL nominations! For those of you that are unaware of what the CoL is, it is the Commendation of Loyalty. This is the time of year when the WC’s, COM’s, and BGCOM’s all nominate who they feel should be awarded the CoL for their hard work and dedication to their unit and the TC in general.
Asp Monthly TOP ACE Competition
I have finally received approval from the TO for the TOP ACE Comp. So on January 1st we will kick off the first week’s events. If anyone needs any info then be sure and visit the Asp MB where the details are currently listed. I will also be completing the Asp Competition page on the site by this weekend, so the details will also be listed there as well. :)
Recruiting
I want to start 2002 on the right foot. So lets work as a team and get some new active recruits into our ranks! You notice I said “active”, because it doesn’t do any good to have an inactive pilot join us. :P

Ok, I know. Everyone is probably sick of my moving the Asp homepage around. But it is now officially in its final place, and has been updated on the TC database as well. Here is the new URL for the Asp site: http://www.cox-internet.com/wilstriker/asp/
I have a LOT of room on this site, and it is far easier to access and upload files to. So update your Favorites accordingly so that you are able to access the site, especially since I plan on closing the other account right after the New Year. ;)

Wing Commander
I want to ask everyone in Asp to be nice to our WC. He’s had some email problems recently, and it has pretty much prevented him from getting much of anything done.
MP Flying
Well, now that I’m fully able to participate in MP flying, I will have to start making some noise about everyone else participating as well. I can say this because even though CM Nightmare beat Brakka and myself the other day, we were two out of a very few from Wing XIV that actually participated in any MP activities that day. So I’d like to see more activity in this area from everyone, this is a MP ship after all. :P Oh, and just to be fair, LT Clark did try to fly MP, but for some reason was unable to make a connection when I hosted, or hold a connection when he tried to host. Maybe next time he asks me to fly against him we’ll get a chance to get some actual flight time in. hehe

Ø All pilots are required to dress in the new Standard Duty Uniform during duty hours, and acquire the new Ceremonial Dress Uniform for special occasions. If you are unable to create your own uniform contact LC Striker ASAP and he will make you a new uniform.
