...There were no planets visible from the bridge of the Victory Star Desteroyer Aggressor. No planets, no asteroids, no ships, no stars Nothing but complete, uniform blackness. Except for one spot. Off to the starboard, barely visible within Major Sarin's view, was a small disk of dirty white. A tiny sliver of the comet head the Aggressor was riding beside, peeking through the ship's cloaking device. They'd been flying like this for a month now, completely blind and deaf to the rest of the universe outside of their insular existence. For Major Sarin, it wasn't really a problem. He'd pulled duty on one of the Empire's most distant listening posts when he was a cadet, and the mere fact that there was nothing outside to look at did not bother him. But not all of the crew were as tough as he was. The vids and combat practice rooms were getting triple duty these days, and he'd heard rumors that some of the Avenger pilots had been offered huge bribes to take a passenger or two on their trips outside the darkness.
The Aggressor was growing restless for a battle. Training against other squads within the Hammer had grown bothersome and tired. Major Sarin allowed a smile to crack through his lips. Soon his crew and Squadron would know why the Aggressor was flying cloaked. Soon they would be encountering the Rebel Squadrons.
1. Avenger Squadron will be entering Battle Against the infamous Liutenant Commander Renan "Phantom 6" Darillia and the Rebel Squadron's Red Dragon Squadron. Our combat engagement will take place in open space as the Aggressor is on a Special Operations assignment to probe near the RS's borders. Intelligence reports that LCM Renan Darillia and the Red Dragon Squadron are known to patrol this area. It is highly anticipated that 1 on 1 engagements will occur. Prepare for battle. More intelligence Data will be delivered as it becomes available.
2. Avenger continues its mock war training exercises against Tartarus Squadron. Intelligence reports that some Tartarus pilots are exceeding our statistical analysis and are performing at a higher ability rate than expected. It is an immediate concern that all pilots enter their Training Simulators and fly single player combat to counter this Tartarus attempt at defeating us.
3. Congrats to CM BlackHero on winning two Iron Star Bronze Wing Medals and an Iron Star Bronze Ribbon for Avenger Ace, FCHG Award, and the Avenger Trivia Competition. Congrats to CM Brian for finishing in a Tie with CM Blackhero and also winning a Iron Star Bronze Wing Medal for the Avenger trivia competion.
4. All Pilots are to enter the Aggressor Lounge and purchase 2 rounds of drinks for our new Pilots. Everyone make sure to welcome CM Death Knight and CM Xura Verr.
5. CM Brian and MAJ Sarin are completing the Avenger Bylaws, Code of Conduct, Standard Operation Procedures, Recruitment Policy, and recruitment selection(Hell Week trials). These policies and Squadron Operation Procedures are designed to add uniqueness and solidify this squadron of excellent pilots. We are designing a program that sets us apart from the rest of the Fleet.

5. ASF Round Robin Comp - VA Khadgar has agreed to run the ASF Round Robin Squadron tournament. Squadrons will compete against one another, the winner advancing to meet other squadrons, the loser going home.
6. Training Officer is open for Applications. The position of Training Office is one of the most demanding in the EH. The position covers a wide range and scope of duties, requiring a multi-talented person. The successful applicant will also be under the extra pressure of continuing the standard of work conducted by the previous Training Officer. Tartarus Competition ends in 48 Hours
Typically I assign individual missions and tasks to each pilot, but due to the situation envolving the Tartarus competition I am assigning all pilots the same task. All Avenger Pilots are to fly as much Single Player as they can between now and 11:59 Eastern Time Saturday Night. Once Saturday night has passed, all pilots are to fly one more SP battle for the remainder of the week. As always each pilot is assigned to fly as many ladder matches as possible as well as compete in as many MP competitions as possible. You must win at least 3 LoCs per week.
If you are looking for SP Battles to fly, be sure to check which battles we do not have citations for. You are to fly battles we do not have citations for!!! Keep up the good work.

I want you to look back up at the numbers above, now I want you to realize that we can easily shatter those numbers this month. We have received two new pilots and next during February we are going to display an activity effort which defeats our January Total. I challenge each and everyone of your personally to be more active this month.
All Pilots are to be signed up for the Ladder no later than Saturday February 2nd, 2002. All pilots are to continue flying on the ladder. You can always find an opponent in your Avenger Squad Mates. I want Avenger to finish all of its pilots in the top 15.
Remember each month Avenger Squadron has 4 competitons taking place. Our Ace Competition for the months best pilot, FCHG Gain competition for the Pilot who gains the most FCHG Points, Banner/Logo/Nickname Competion for the best new submissions, and the Trivia Competition. Those are four Iron Stars that could be yours!
All pilots in this Squadron need to get ready for the Next XVT WoW. I expect each and everyone of you to take part in it. There is a huge opportunity to learn from Pilots on the Zone. I think that our talent level is very high in this squadron, however, we can always get better.
Congrats on your hard work men. You must remember though, you can always work harder, fly more, and be more active. I have said this many times and I want all of you to understand it: Other Pilots still mock Avenger. We are still viewed as the "Retirement Home" and the "ASF Pretend Elite". I want each and everyone of you to think about your pride and your feelings about this squadron. Any Regular Squadron in the ASF that wants to make a statement that they are better than us, will have to prove it. I expect that each of you would not like to see us lose to a Reg unit. Do not let Avenger down, do not let me down, do not let your squad mates down, and do not let yourself down. You joined Avenger for a reason, that reason was not to be an average pilot, that reason was not to have other ASF Pilots bad mouth you. You joined because you want to be the best and because you believe you are the best. Now start proving it.
