SQUADRON NEWS:

-A very inactive week this was.
-Phantom eliminated: Our squadron was eliminated from the Highlander comp by Thunder squadron:

We tried, but these things happen. I hope everyone can put this behind their backs, and move on with their activities. Demon squadron and Falcon squadron are the only ones in this comp now. We wish them good luck.
-MAJ Roguewing has resigned from his position has CMDR of Ghost squadron, and is now a FM on that squadron. Roguewing was one of the best CMDRs in this wing, he introduced the "quote of the week" section, made his squadron the most populated on the Immortal, and I hope his future replacement is up to the challenge.

SQUADRON STATUS:

- Website comp ends tomorrow. I want all submissions on my maibox and on leonlj@telia.com tomorrow! Everything that is relevant to the website (pictures, sounds, etc...) must be zipped and sent. Me and Spear are looking forward to see them.
NEW SQUADRON COMP BRIEFING

Pilots, remember to send your submissions in advance. We can't afford to repeat past mistakes :P

I noticed morale is not very high, so I've setup a new squadron vs squadron comp. Our opponents are Vampire Squadron. Believe it or not, we're playing a high role in the Immortal's history :) . We have the honour of being the first squadron to face Vampire on a squadron vs squadron comp, and put them to the test.
You will fly XWA-Free 47 (attached), you may start flying it on the 11th, and end date for the comp is the 26th. I told CM Sharp to try and make his squadron get 100% activity, so you know what I expect from you ;)
Do not underestimate Vampire squadron. Since we're the first ones to face them, we're going into unknown territory. We have no idea of how they'll handle; don't think that their ranks tell all about them, those guys are all veterans of the Infiltrator Wing. Sharp was a good pilot in the IW, as far as I remember on my time there; Malik is a General now and Training officer for them; Lara Nostril I don't know much about, but I've seen ppl talking about her, and I doubt it was either because of her name or because she's a girl. So watch out, and good luck!

-Mark is still the Phantom ace, after two challenges. If you want the title, challenge him.
