1. Colonel Brucmack has officially joined Avenger Squadron at 2-2. Colonel Brucmack returns to active flight duty from his former position as COO. Luckily the COO is stationed on the Aggressor and Colonel Brucmack did not have to transport his belongings very far. In Case you eat paint chips or live in a Cave, Colonel Brucmack is regarded as the best pilot in the Fleet. He currently holds the most FCHG Points and Most CR Points. He has served a long an excellent career in the TC. A special side note--Colonel Brucmack was my first Commander in Vortex Squadron.

2. CM Brian has finally been moved to the reserves. Hopefully someday we will see his return. Good Luck to him and his cousin Andrew.

3. Iron Stars have been awarded today. Congrats to Nightmare for winning the Trivia competition and earning an Iron Star Bronze Ribbon. Congrats to Pell for winning the FCHG Competition and earning an Iron Star Bronze Wing. Avenger Ace competition was decided in a Tie, Pell and BH both earning an Iron Star Bronze Wing. I am in the process of awarding KK and Ian Bronze Star Iron Ribbons for their work in the field of graphics.

4. All Pilots are to search the fleet for possible recruits to Avenger Squadron. There is a possibility that we could lose KK to the position of COO.

5. Nightmare is currently working on a Flash Intro for our website. The website should be operational very soon.

6. Our number one priority at the moment is to prepare for the ASF Flagship competition. If you need some time off for real life, I suggest you take it now. I will expect very high levels of activity from each of you during the Flagship competition. Remember we will be competiting against wings, so our activity will have to be better than Six Squadrons combined. I believe we can do that.

7. Ender is currently working on a Tie Shadow Ship set for Avenger. This will allow our fighter to have unique markings on it. Be sure to thank Ender when you see him.

8. I have recently contacted the Fleet Commander and the XO to inform them of Avenger's Recent activity. The FC sends his approval and respect to each of you. Look forward to being a News topic on the Emperor's Hammer webpage.

1. ASF BGCOM Admiral Cyric will be on leave from 2/22/02 thru 03/05/02. Please make a note of it. If there are any MAJOR problems in the Battle group please direct them to Va Khadgar, and CC FO Priyum.

2. The ASF will be conducting its large War Game to Decide the New Flag Ship of the ASF. The current Flagship is the ISD Grey Wolf. The Grey Wolf is the former of many Avenger Pilots. It will be our duty to give our former ship and shipmates a run for their money.

3. Thanks to the hard work of Rear Admiral Grail SoulChaser, the Tactical Staff has now a fully functional database, with beta battles and beta testers, at http://www.isdchallenge.org/tacDB. You can access there the listing of battles in the hands of the Tactical Staff, with their current status, beta reports etc. Right now, most of the staff need to be added, and battles status are not yet accurate. Please give us some time so we can be able to use fully this wonderful new tool.

4. Lieutenant Colonel Drake, Wing Commander of Wing VIII, has been promoted to Colonel, and his Commodore, Rear Admiral Absolut Vodka, has been promoted to the rank of Vice Admiral. Both work tirelessly in supporting their ship, and these promotions are well deserved.

5. ASF Round Robin Comp - VA Khadgar has agreed to run the ASF Round Robin Squadron tournament. Squadrons will compete against one another, the winner advancing to meet other squadrons, the loser going home.

6. Imperial Storm III is (very nearly almost) here. Flags - you should be receiving emails from your BGCOMs soon about this. If you don't, then be sure to bug them about it :P

7. This is an ORDER!!! All Pilots in Avenger will sign up for an account at the ASF Website. You will register and you will look at the ASF Site for Up to Date information. I believe all of you have done this, but I will keep posting it in the news. You can find the ASF Site located at:

Major Dax Corrin Dax reports that he works in an office that allows him to fly XVT and XWA. He also notes that riding his bike to work is more entertaining than driving!!!

Pilot of the Week: Ian. Ian submitted a new logo for the Squadron and continued his week in week out MP steak. Congrats Ian.

So how is your motivation? You an elite pilot, you do not need speeches, half time speeches, or cheerleaders to urge you to be active in the Tie Corp. The simple fact that you accepted membership into this squadron states that you are a motivated individual. I have given everyone a minimal amount of duties for the squadron, relying on each of you to take the initiative to fly on your own. The Tie Corps is fun and you do not need me whipping your backs to fly. BUT if you have a Zero gain in FCHG and CR rating above in this report, YOU ARE WRONG. If real life is keeping you from flying 1 battle a week or one MP event a week, then you need to let me know. I have no problem with pilots taking the week off, but you need to let me know when you are going away. Currently Rahn and Graz are on leave(both returning today or tomorrow) and I have no problem with that. If you are unable to be active, just let me know. IF you do not let me know, I am going to take that as a sign, a sign that you would like to resume your career with a regular unit.

I believe that the squadron is beginning to work very well together. With the addition of Bruc we should be ready for the ASF Flagship Competition. This will be the time that each of us proves we belong in this squadron. So far we have defeated Tartarus, and a RS Squadron but that means little compared to becoming the Flagship of the ASF. I want each of you to be ready to do your best for that competition.

Lastly I would like everyone to remember, if your are applying for another job(CMDR, CA, TACA, ect..) to let me know about it. Especially if that means you are leaving the squad. I like to have replacements already selected before pilots vacate the squadron. Various members of the ASF take great pride in recruiting from this Squadron. The pride is typically not from having an Elite pilot as a new commander, but in taking Pilots away from Avenger. I do not believe that anyone is currently interested in leaving, and I appreciate your dedication to the squadron(Team first!)

Lastly, Welcome aboard Bruc. I am very glad that you were interested in joining the Squad because of our activity. I hope you enjoy your stay. I will send you the Avenger Contract shortly.
