PHANTOM SQUADRON REPORT #34 6/10/01

FICTION CORNER:

As I approached the COM's office, I could hear the laser sounds coming out of it. The door opened when I approached it, and I could see Toran playing in a simulator with BL behind him watching.
-Toran, I'm not sure about this, but I think that if you link your lasers and move the throttle slider beyond just half, you might move faster and fire better?
-You got a point there, lets try it.
-OK, what do you want, Gunman?
-I'm giving my squadron's mission to Toran, sir.
-Thank you, now please leave us. The space flying techniques we are employing here are too advanced for your brain to comprehend.
-As you wish, sir.
I then discretly left Toran's office, but I couldn't take out of my mind the idea that I'd just been insulted.

SQUADRON NEWS:

-Another ECR phase comes to an end. Oh when will this bloody war end? When will the killing stop? But seriously, the ECR is for me the same thing that the Olympics games are for any sportsman, and I hope this squadron keeps minimum participation. (minimum? are you saying that just my participation would be enough? - Spear)
-I got 3 candidates for this ECR phase, and the winning mission that will go on to represent our squadron is... LCM Mark, XO and FL of flight 2! (clap, clap, clap)

SQUADRON STATUS:

-Next phase is the ghaphics phase. I'm not sure on the nature of this phase, so keep watching for Adren's briefing on your mailboxes next week.
-PHANTOM ACE COMPETITION: yes, it's time we have a small comp to decide who's officially the best pilot in our squadron. Fly XWA-Free 27, winner will get an ISM and the title (oh, I seriously hope I don't win this one. - Deimos), so hit'em hard!

Comment: I believe that at this exact point, I managed to organize the way I'll command this squadron. Things will run a lot smoother for me from now on. Special thanks to COM Toran and Acting WC Darksaber, for answering (and putting up) with my stupid questions ;P

Comment: oh nuno, nuno, nuno, nuno, nuno... The idea and concept of your mission was so original and so interesting, but this mission was too bugged to actually be considered good. I strongly suggest you complete the IWATs mission design course.

Comment: Spearhawk has been helping me almost like a mentor in my CMDR activities. It's a pity that his mission was bit boring, not to mention a bit egocentric like the fiction. However, I really enjoyed the briefing and debriefing, so next time make a fiction out of the mission, and a mission out of the fiction (get it? :P).
