A number of new wing commanders have come on the scene. Also, for those of you who fly XWA, Exercise Imperial Storm II continues to move along. The most recent addition of the NL is out, and your commander has two articles in it (a piece about the history of Praetorian Squadron and some thoughts about the Executive Officer position in a squadron). Wing News
The Wing Commander’s Own competition has been completed. All pilots should also be aware that our Commodore (Ricaud) has prepared some new Standing Orders for all Relentless pilots. They aren’t official yet, but be prepared. Taking another look at Spear’s standing orders should give you some idea of what’s in store. Under the proposed system, if you fail to check in for two weeks in a row, you will be considered AWOL.

Squadron News
Our turnout for the WCO was a bit disappointing, although I’m glad to say that our newest member (LT Weasel) participated. That made three out of the five members of the squadron. Still, this was a mandatory competition. Those of you who didn’t fly should be aware that this lack of participation will count against you. I can understand if you had technical or RL reasons that kept you from participating, but it’s your responsibility to contact me and let me know what’s going on. If I don’t hear from you, I have to assume that you just didn’t care enough about the competition to be bothered.

If, for any reason, you are unable to fly, report to me and let me know what’s going on.

Should you be looking for a good mission to fly, let me recommend CAB 3. It’s not your usual ‘kill all Rebels’ mission, and it deals with some of the EH’s history. It’s also fairly bug-free. Give it a try if you’ve got the time. I’ve attached it to this WSR.

Work continues on the Spear Squadron story I mentioned a couple of reports back. It should be done in time for the next Dark Sentinel. If you’d like to see the latest version, e-mail me and let me know.

Rumor also has it that we may be getting a new member in the next week or so.
