Medals

- MAJ Ixion and COL Sasquatch were awarded the IS-BW for winning their division in Round 2 of the Sov Top Gun competition
- COL Gallows was awarded the IS-BR for placing third in the SovMan costume competition and COL Sasquatch was awarded the IS-GR for taking first.
- MAJ Ixion was awarded the IS-BW for placing third overall in the TIE division of the Sov Top Gun competition

It's nice to be back in the saddle again after nearly a month away!

Everything has gone wonderfully since my surgery in mid-June and I am getting stronger and stronger as the days go by. My number one complaint? Boredom. But I'm trying to temper that with getting caught up around here and planning some future things for Omega.

the first thing on my list is getting some new blood into this place. I hope to have a new pilot on board within the next couple of weeks. If the person I am currently trying to persuade says no, I am really tempted to have a fleet-wide competition as a qualifier, and use those pilots as our pool of talent to choose from.

We've also got a possible competition coming up in the next few weeks, so please put it into your thought processes that you will need to fly sometime in the coming weeks (although you should be flying some anyway!).

I'd also like to thank COL Gallows for all the amazing amount of flying he's been putting in over the last couple of weeks. His goal is to make Executor in the FCHG before the summer is over, and I wish him all the best in trying to reach for that acheivement.
