He took a deep sip of his drink, then looked of to Tarkin, DarkAlpha and the
CMDR and the Flightleaders of the other Squadron aboard the modified VSD
Aggressor. They all sat in the casino and were busy playing Sabacc. Death
looked at his cards again, then throwed them into the freeze-area and ordered a
new drinks. He took some more of his credchips, smiled and threw them into
the cash-area 'Come on gentlemen, let us make this the final game. It is late,
and my squadron has to do a lot of work tomorrow!'. Death took his
remaining credchips and threw them all in, looking at the others. After a short
moment of thinking Tarkin and DarkAlpha followed, which led to the sigh of
resignation of the winning FL of the other squadron, and the other CMDR and the
FLs followed the example too.
Death looked as the other showed their cards, and a long sigh of
dissapointment came when the enemy FL who won so much showed that he had an 42
points. Death was the only without having his cards shown yet. Then he emptyied
his drink in one turn, and opened his cards: A SABACC!
Death collected all the cash, including the sabacc-cash, wished the other
squadron-commandstaff a good night, then left the casino, followed by Tarkin
and DarkAlpha. He looked at all the money, and sighed, handing it to Tarkin
'Here, put it to the other cash in the Avenger-fund...how much is it by
now? Oh, already about one million? We should continue to do our playing'.
Death smiled, then the three entered the very modern Warroom of the VSD
Aggressor, already awaited by the others. 'Ok folks, time for a new little
report!'...".

A.E.S.N. - In and Out
Well, Commander Hawk left us, to get his own command, Python-Squadron
aboard the ISD Vanguard. I think I speak for all when I wish him a lot of luck
and fun with his own squadron, and that he will always be welcome back.
This leaves us with 6 pilots. Gentlemen, we need more pilots! Please send
me the names and e-mail addresses of pilots you know who could make it into
the squad (means they have to be: Good MP-Pilots, very active, no dirty
character).
A.E.S.N. - External News
We hae, again, a new FO. AD Sarriss stepped down to CA:FO, while the new
FO is Vice Admiral Theodore X

Well, the first part of the WoW didn't run so extreme good for us. Well,
let us all blame the correct persons: VERR AND BRUCMACK =P Damnit, why don't
they have a RL ??? ;-) Well, I hope that the XWA-Part will run better,
though I can say now already, that I won't be able to fly in it.
A.E.S.N. - Currently paused competitions
Yeah, there are two Avenger hosted competitions which are currently
paused, since we first need to reorganize enough before we can start them. We will
work out new people who will be mainly responsible to host them, and new
times, where most of us can come.
The first one is the Training Competition. That comp is planned to help
other pilots to learn how to be a better online pilot. It is for XvT and XWA,
1vs1 and 2vs2.
The second one is the so called OPERATION: RAMPAGE. It was started by GN
Shups. In this comp, we challenge one squad each week, going down the roster.
For each squad we have one week. We make one time, then as many of us show
up and kill the other squad =P
I just can say to both, that they will be continued after the ASF:SC2,
since we need to focus our energy on that. but if you want to help with the
training comp, please tell me so.
A.E.S.N. - Currently running Competitions
Well, first is of course the ASF:SC. You all are doing great! I would love
to already give some first data, but since Pri will update the Site
tomorrow, I will have to send out an update about it. Continue your good work
folks, and we can be sure to win it !
The next is the ASF:Vengeance-Competiton. As I mentioned above already,
the XvT part gave the ISD Grey Wolf a big lead, but maybe we can catch up, who
knows =P Remember, the best three of our squadron get medals! And also, I
will reward that person specially who makes us win against all ISD-Grey Wolf
Squadrons!
Another currently running competition is the
Avenger-Elite-Squadron-Banner-Competition. I recieved a banner of LC Smitroc, but it isn't what I have in
mind. Medal (PC) for the winner!
And, last but not least, the Avenger-Recruiting-Competition. It is still
going, with CM Hawk in the lead (no matter that he is not in the squadron
anymore). Come on folks, we need more pilots!

Well, I'm still waiting for SCO Kermee to answer to the mail I sended to
him.
I will also see if I can speak with the GA about it, if I ever should meet
him in IRC again =P

The XWA-WoW has started today (friday). It will be until next friday. I
recommend you all to fly in, since we need those points, and it gives us
points for the ASF:SC2 =P
A.E.S.N. - Avenger Activity
CMDR CPT Death - Flew in the GWC, won the EuroLoC, got a warded and
DFC, looks for new pilots, does his CMDR-Work, works on several projects.
FM MAJ Fondor - Is currently on leave, flew several battles and free
missions.
FL MAJ Tarkin - Maintained contact, is hosting the Euro-
Loc, was a bit silent lately.
FL CM DarkAlpha - Maintained contact, showed up on mIRC,
flew 6 free XvT-Missions, one pending for
a highscore. His Combat Rating went up to
Officer 3rd.
FM LCM Daisuke Airyu - Maintained contact, flew many battles and
free missions, has been awarded an ISM
for great activity, has participated in the
GWC.
FM CM Dax Corrin - Maintained contact, flew many battles and
free missions, achieved the FCHG-Rank of Legionnaire, has been
awarded an ISM for
great activity.
