Vice Admiral Pel and Admiral Priyum stood on the bridge of the Imperial- Class Star
Destroyer, Intrepid, looking out of one of the transparisteel viewports as eleven TIE
Advanced class star-fighters went through maneuvers. A comm channel was open, allowing
the flag officers to listen in to the squadrons transmissions during their exercises.
"Tighten it up two-three."
"I'm with ya Tarks."
"Full, tight evasive flight three."
"Roger."
"Gimme a sharp, one eighty on the old man's vector, three-two."
"I got your six, baby."
Vice Admiral Pel clasped his black, gloved hands behind his back making a comment without
looking at his superior officer.
"It's rumored that most of them are Dark Jedi. They are extremely precise."
The Admiral glanced at him and then turned and continued watching, "Rumored you say?
When is the last time you saw a squadron fly like this? Each one of them beams with pride
for the Empire. As long as they stay together, they will become very strong. I am going
down to the hangar bay to perform an inspection when they return. Carry on."
"Yes, Sir."
Twenty minutes later, the eleven TIE Advanced leapt through the atmospheric containment
field of one of the Intrepid's hangar bays and docked flawlessly. The eleven stood in front of
their ships, awaiting inspection. Each one, standing proud and at full attention, their
helmets held off to their right side.
Admiral Priyum took a long moment to walk up and down their line. Then in an outburst of
anger, he queried, "Which one of you was responsible for the counter to the Marg Sabl
maneuver?"
Fearless of defending his squadron, General Shups began to speak, but the Admiral's hand
went up, signaling the Commander's silence.
With a fierce determination, one pilot stepped forward from the line. "Sir, I was responsible
for my flight's maneuver, Sir!" Captain Death said with a pure look of determination on his
face.
The Admiral paced the line, passing within a few centimeters of the Captain. The look of
rage brewing on his face. Quite suddenly his demeanor changed and he stood facing the
Captain. "Well, done, Death, well done indeed!" The Admiral clasped him on the shoulder.
The Captain thanked him and took his place back in line.
Admiral Priyum made eye contact with each of them, slowly, then walked over to the
Commander of the squadron.
"General Shups, this display of intricate squadron tactics and Avenger squadron's victory at
Thilla has me filled with high hopes and expectations for your squadron," he pointed a finger
at Shups' chest, "don't disappoint me."
As the Admiral walked away, the General stole a quick glance down the line of elite pilots,
and said, "WE won't."

Squadron News- What's happening?
I. General Shups takes over as CMDR. My thanks to CPT Death for his work as A-
CMDR. Also, thank you to Admiral Priyum for giving me a shot with this proud
squadron.

III. ASF Operation Dark Hammer: This competition has been a lot of fun this week.
Avenger squadron went without a single loss at the battle of Thilla and it appears
despite a setback later during the week, the ASF is dominating! You can check out

Squadron Status- What are we doing?
I. ASF Operation Dark Hammer- Look for more updates as I get them.
II. Our biggest ongoing goal is earning DFCs and LoCs at official comps. As the Elite
squadron of the ASF, this is our most important goal. Need the 4-1-1 on when and

III. Avenger vs Cobra Comp: This comp was set up before I took over and is a 2v2 MP
comp. Avenger squad won the first round; the second round will have CPT Death and
CM Corrin flying for us. The third round will be announced thereafter. Best wishes

IV. Citations: Yep, even we MP flyboys like to have a set of citations. We got 11 now!

I have to say I am very pleased with this week's activity. You guys are doing a bang up job.
Very few squadrons in the fleet of this size boast this kind of activity. However, the true test
is maintaining it. If I missed anything above, just send me a note and I'll include it for next
week. Remember, showing up for the MP comps is our main goal. I have several plans to
encourage this and will be making an announcement soon. Bloodhounds, Firehawks, and
Gargoyles…umm, is everyone cool with those? Ahem, finally, whenever a squad update is
sent during the week, please take a few seconds to reply so I know you got it…Thanks!
