SQUADRON NEWS:
- This week there is some good news, and some bad. The good news is that the squadron has gained two new pilots!
CM Archon and LT Keiran are both joining as FMs in Flight I. Welcome to the squadron! The bad news is that
we're going to be losing LCM Baron Fel, who will be joining Tau squadron. I wish you well in your new venture. I'll
be looking for a new Flight Leader of Flight II
- There was another good Avenger showing at the XWA comp on the weekend. CM Archon, LCM K'Tehmok and
myself attended. I don't know what the results are. And before any of you ask, the results from the previous week's
comp haven't yet been released, and neither have the medals. I ask you to be patient on this, I have already asked the
two COOAs about this.
- The first round of the Avenger-Raptor competition was last night. Unfortunately, the lag beast reared its ugly
game, and we couldn't get a game started. I'll be speaking to Raptor CMDR, LC Kaye about this. Hopefully we can
move it back to next week, with the same pilots flying. If this is a problem for any of you, please let me know.
Additionally, I would like to thank all those who came last night, the attendance was excellent! I think there were at
one point 6 Avenger pilots, with only 2 Raptor.
- After a LONG delay, I've been awarded some medals: 7 Medals of Instruction, and an MoC. My list of completed
battles has also been added, and my new FCHG rank is Fusilier.
SQUADRON ORDERS:
- The month of activity continues, with just over two weeks to go. Due to the excellent turn out last night, I've
decided to allow the attending of that as one of the tasks to complete. Just a reminder, to be recommended for a PC,
you have to complete 3 out of the 4 tasks:
? Attend the squadron practice session this Saturday @5.30pm EST and the Avenger/Raptor competition on
Sunday 10th at @5.30pm EST (counts as one thing)
? Submit something for the new section of the homepage, e.g graphics, fiction, Uniform, INPR...etc
? Participate in either the Outer Rim night, or the XWA Zone competition, and win at least one match.
? Complete 3 TC battles, or pass an IWATS Course (NOT Core).
When you complete any these, you MUST MUST MUST tell me, or I won't know, and I can't give you the credit
for it. To show how many of these things you've done, I'll put an star by your name.
As for the winning a match in the OR/Zone night, I'll assume those of you who attended won at last one match, so
I'll give that to you.
- As you know, the Avenger-Raptor competition is this sunday, I'd like the same sort of turn out.
