SQUADRON NEWS:
- Firstly, we had some promotions within the squadron. K'Tehmok and Tarkin have both been promoted to LCM.
Congratulations gentlemen!
- We had our first practice session on the weekend, with several of you attending. We flew a multiple pilot skirmish
against Raptor squadron. From Avenger, Tarkin and myself flew against the Raptor CMDR, LC Kaye, and LT
Walzt. Safe to say, we upheld our reputation as the best, beating the Raptors, 11 kills to 6. Additionally, I flew
against LT Walzt, one on one. The score was 13-1. I've already made my excuse on the squadron board as to how he
got that kill on me :P The actual competition is going to be held this coming Sunday at 5.30pm EST in
#Avenger_squadron, on Undernet. I am expecting EVERYONE to attend. I haven't yet received any excuses as to
why anyone can not. We also need a name for the trophy the winner takes. We had a couple of lame attempts at the
practice (The 'Medal of Baron Fel' was one I think >:P) If you come up with a name that LC Kaye and myself like,
the you may get a prize. Keep in mind that its a trophy, not a medal, and try to incorporate our squadron/ship names.
Or whatever.
- I received an ISM for coming third in the XWA comp weekend before last. That makes a nice round number of 10
ISMs, one of most in the TC AFAIK. As for the comp yesterday, I know that K'Tehmok attended as well as myself.
We both flew with no losses (Avenger-yeah baby!). We await the results.
- LCM K'tehmok has made an excellent contribution to the Flight II project, a multiplayer tactics manual. It can be
found at http://www.topdawg.net/ktehmok/tactics.htm It contains some excellent tips to flying. even if you think
you're the best *coughfelcough* then I recommend that you have a look at it. It has the basics that may be useful to
you.
- With appointment of the more than competent HA Kawolski as the new Tactical Officer, the TAC office seems to
be shrugging of its reputation of a mis-managed hole, and is become a valued part of the TC. The High Admiral
must have been working all night or something, because all of our FCHG points and ranks have been worked out.

I think that these FCHG ranks are an excellent way of showing others how active and good you are. Easy ways of
getting points are winning matches and completing battles. Personally, I believe that the time you spend trying to get
high scores could be better spent flying more.

- This is my 10th squadron report that I've sent out, which loosely means that I've been the Avenger CMDR for
about 10 weeks. During that time, I think that the squadron has become respectable, with a great reputation of
excellence, and some of the best pilots in the TC. I'd like your feedback on how you think things have gone during
this time; what you've liked, and what you think needs to be changed or improved.
The only way I can do my job better is by you telling me what I'm doing wrong, or what you'd like to see more of.
Please think about this. It benefits not only the squadron, but also you, making your time in the EH that much more
enjoyable.

SQUADRON ORDERS:
- Earlier this week I started the 'Month of activity', in which if you accomplished 3 of 4 things, I'd be recommending
you for a PC. These things are:
? Attend the squadron practice session this Saturday @5.30pm EST and the Avenger/Raptor competition on
Sunday 10th at @5.30pm EST (counts as one thing)
? Submit something for the new section of the homepage, e.g graphics, fiction...etc
? Participate in either the Outer Rim night, or the XWA Zone competition, and win at least one match.
? Complete 3 TC battles, or pass an IWATS Course (NOT Core).
When you complete any these, you MUST MUST MUST tell me, or I won't know, and I can't give you the credit
for it. To show how many of these things you've done, I'll put an star by your name.
- The Avenger/Raptor comp this Sunday. The details are everywhere. Be there or be shot!
- FLs, I remind you that you're reports are due in this weekend.
