Activity is slowing pick up again. I would like to welcome Lieutenant Mitchell to Mem. Congrats on your finishing your training and also congrats on your quick promotion to Lieutenant J

With LT Mitchell joining us… we are up to 11 pilots again. That leaves one last spot to be filled. So everyone start recruiting and lets get that last spot filled.

Just a to inform everyone about recruiting… direct recruiting is NOT ALLOWED what so ever. I have included the rules that the Flight Officer has set regarding recruiting. This is taken from the Flight Office Website. If anyone has any further questions regarding this
Ummm … policy please feel free to contact me.

Under no circumstances are pilots allowed to try and recruit members of other Squadrons into their own. This includes: the posting of recruitment messages on EH message board, emailing pilots in other squadrons with recruitments messages, trying to recruit in EH IRC channels. You may advertise your Squadron on the Recruitment board. Pilots are allowed to email Cadets in general help matters, but no spamming or attempts of direct recruitment.
The ONLY exception to these rules is with Elite CMDRs, who may email pilots from other Squadrons with invitations to join their Squadron, providing that they CC that particular pilot's superior Officers.

I would like to congratulate a few pilots on their well earned promotions… Congrats go to Captain B.J Morgan and to Lieutenant Commander Willis. Keep up the awesome work guys.

Starting with the month of June, I will choose one officer from the squadron as Mem’s Pilot of the Month. This officer will be awarded this honor, along with an Imperial Security Medal! Now in order to be given this honor, you will have to prove to me through communication, activity, and any other means you can come up with, that you deserve to be the Pilot of the Month.

In addition, if a pilot is able to earn this honor for three consecutive months, I will then award that pilot with a Palpatine Crescent as well for his hard work and dedication.

Wing V Citation Competition

The Squadron with the most citations will be awarded the WC’s Own for the month of June.

Weekly Wing Meetings.....Saturdays, the weekly Wing meeting in the Airlock at 1300 HRS EST, 1 PM for those that don't know the 24 hour clock. All pilots of Wing V are encouraged to attend this meeting so that everyone will be up to date with what is going
on in the Wing, and it also gives everyone a chance to share any ideas they may have.

With the recent spate of folks, with the best of intentions, applying for and being appointed as Command Staff, then resigning within a short time (<6 months), a NEW Bylaws revision is posted and incorporated herein:
XIV
Open Command Staff Positions are typically posted on the Emperor's Hammer Domain Index. All active Members of the club with no violations registered with the High Court of the Inquisitors are free to apply for open these Positions. However, If a Member accepts such a position, receives a related Rank promotion and then resigns in less than 6 months, the Member will be demoted to the Rank they were before application for the command position.
The Command Staff Positions require the utmost dedication and serious commitment. These volunteer officers, through their hard work and organization, hold the Emperor's Hammer together. Members frivolously applying for and then resigning from these Positions (i.e. to get a quick jump in Rank) may be subjected to further inquiry by the High Court of the Inquisitors.
This policy shall apply to all Command Staff Positions and Command Attaché Positions effective July 1, 2001.
