Sometime after the first review was posted the mission was updated and now is not as easy. TIE Bomber is not needed for a successful completion of the mission.

Both simple and complex. Many of the reported "flaws" have been corrected, but there seems to be quite a few points missing. Getting scores of 10k or more requires a lot of precision, agression and superior timing.

Mission 1 on "hard" is a nightmare. It's not even interesting as a test of pilot's skills.

The great quality of this battle is "tactical latitude" of the missions - they can be easily finished on "hard", and they can be quite a challenge if trying to achieve a better score.

Too hard. Both in terms of gameplay and in terms of physical strain. The game uses difficulty levels, but only 'easy' is feasible. The good thing is additional weapons and equipment. How realistic is a Frigate with a super laser, a hundred or so booster rockets and two squadrons of Assault Transports? Friendly wingmen are not much use, and the ISD runs away when its shields are reduced to 75% (mission failed). Reinforcements are not much use either.

Quite nice and easy to finish (not too many enemies). Pretty interesting when going for scores above 12,000.

Nice battle with several annoying features. Playing on 'hard' can be very tough (impossible) which effectively reduces the scope of the battle. Mission 1 goal is misleading, and mission 4(?) gives you negative points for no reason (destroyed wingmen). There are also several missions in which the player gets a basic and inadequate fighter for a demanding job.

This battle can be finished, what more can you ask from a TIE battle? The bug which is present in TIE-FCHG 2 is also present in Mission 1, but at least here it is not related to primary goals. In mission where shuttles are located in the hangar I couldn't waste time inspecting them because at least one TRN would be (self?)destroyed very early in the mission. Anyway, those shuttles move out during the mission, and can be inspected later.

Colorful and demanding, this battle has several weak spots: Mission objectives are not properly stated and it is hard to figure out what is required; English sounds rather poor which adds to the confusion; occasionally the battle is overwhelmimg in numbers of craft, targets and enemies. This is not a battle I would recommend in present condition.

It takes about a minute and a half for action to start, and that shouldn't be considered a long wait. Also, the mission options provide you with various weapons and equipment - use them and the mission is a cinch.
