It's training, how can it be faulted? Submitted bug report about the 5th mission, as there are only 4 missions labeled as Training. But I presume the 5th is supposed to be "Battle 0 Prologue", which is Microsoft Flight Simulator (flying from point a to point b, avoid a torpedo or 2).
A simple calm bombing mission. plenty of rebels to pew pew, though the fighters are generally kept busy. There's no challange, other than to blow up as much as possible before either someone else does or they get away.
This is Star Wars, Capital ships facing off launching their squadrons against each other. This will test your dogfighting capabilites. Good practice for the casual dogfighter.
For a challenge, fly as the TIE Interceptor squad, face it off with A-Wings gunning for you.
Something more casual, and my Tip, fly with one of the TIE Advanced squads, turn sheilds down to maintenance level, Lasers to Partial Charge. and Shoot as many X-Wings as you can, as quick as you can. Then finish off the A-Wings. (And it's either A-Wings are hard to hit or my Pew Pew sucks lol )
Easy and fun little mission. A good melee or bombing run, you have the choice. You can protect, you can intercept, or you can hit and run. And with no sheild modification on the TIE, it will have testing your pilot skills without having to be Tom Cruise.
I give it a 2 for the casual gamer, though for a challange it's really only a 1 or a 0.5
A nice little battle if you want to just want to quickly blow up not completely defensless rebels. I mean, they can pew pew back.... a little.
