Following Kalar's promotion to RelCOM, I'm once again in search of a Flight Office Assistant. The duties of the FOA will include:

• Moderating the TIE Corps Message board and Training Board
• Keeping track of weekly reports and TIE Corps homepages
• And anything else I can think of

Potential applicants should be able to meet the following requirements:

• Membership in the TIE Corps for no less than three months
• The rank of Lieutenant Commander or above
• A good working knowledge of all TIE Corps protocols, the Articles of War and Codes of Conduct
• A regular presence on the message boards and prompt email turnover

Command experience is not a requirement, and I'm especially keen on appointing someone with no other commitments to leech away FOAing time (other than their regular TC position). The new FOA will then be decided by the TC meeting on Sunday.

As was announced at last night's TIE Corps meeting (why weren't you there?), there are two new Flag Officers in the TIE Corps:

Congratulations to Major Thom Zack who has taken over as the new Wing Commander for Wing XIX on the SSD Avenger. He comes highly recommended and should continue to be a fine Officer.

Also congratulations to Rear Admiral Jahan Kalar, who has been appointed as Commodore of the ISD Relentless. Around a dozen applications were received, with several highly qualified candidates. Kalar stood out with his previous extensive experience as both Wing Commander and Flight Office Assistant. Myself and VA Krax are confident that he will prove to be the right choice.

I will now need a new FOA, but DO NOT send me any emails about this yet. I'll post some requirements shortly.

The position of Relentless COM is now open to applications. All interested parties must be able to meet the following requirements:

- A successful tour as Squadron Commander & Wing Commander (in the TIE Corps) for no less than FOUR consecutive months for each position
- Intimate familiarity with all TC protocols and procedures
- No major HCI convictions within the last two years
- Familiarity with the single and multiplayer aspects of XWA.
- Commitment to carry out the Commodore duties as detailed in the Training Manual
- You must also be able to look at long term plans for the Ship and the welfare of not only your Ship but also the Battlegroup and TIE Corps.

Applicants must have a quick email response time as well as being able to work with all levels of command, from regular Flight Members to the the Ship WC. Just recently, I contacted the High Inquisitor, Tribune and Warden to conduct a number of trials for certain members who I have found to violate EH regulations. Two battles have now been fought in Operation: Outrageous Fortune (The Sovereign Wargme). Both battles have seen Blue Team (Wings I/IV/V) lose heavily, but not without cost. Red Team (Wings II/III/Omea Squadron) have lost about 6 squadrons of their Gunboats, compared to Blue's losses of 2 Task Fleets. Both teams would be in far worse shape were it not for the efforts of their Single Player TIE and XvT pilots. Future battles will be announced here, so if you can participate, help your team out.

Have you ever wanted your Squadron to compete with the best Squadrons in the fleet? Have you ever thought about all the glory, fame and honours your unit can earn by winning a fleet-wide competition? The event of perhaps your entire TIE Corps career is coming! SSSD Sovereign League 2003! More details very soon!

Unfortunately Rear Admiral Autoris has resigned as Relentless Commodore and moved to the reserves due to RL military commitments. We wish him a safe and speedy return to the TIE Corps. Do NOT apply for the position unless asked to.

The position of Wing Commander of Wing XIII (XvT MP) is now open to applications. Applicants should consider the following criteria when applying:

  a.. Proven experience as Squadron Commander or higher in the TIE Corps for no less than 4 consecutive months.
  b.. Familiarity with TIE Corps procedures.
  c.. Familiarity with X-Wing vs TIE Fighter in terms of Multiplayer and Single Player.
  d.. Able to handle any E-Mail requests promptly and write regular reports.
  e.. Able to work with Flag Officers, as well as members of the Wing.
  f.. Additionally, applicants must also fulfill the position requirements as listed in the Training Manual.
