Milo comes from an Imperial family with a rich background in wealth, ship-making, and military prowess. On his mother's side of the family were wealthy Rockefeller-esc type businessmen that ran a good part of the vast amount of shipyards that plagued Corellia. Milo also comes from a long legacy of Imperial Admirals, his father was an admiral, as well as his grandfather. Milo always walked in his father's shadow. His father was hard on him, he often pressed him to study more so he could be more viable to become an admiral, to keep the legacy going. Although, all Milo wanted to do was just fly, it's all he's ever wanted to do ever since he was a child. Milo also had an older sister that was enlisted as a TK. His higher standing as a TIE pilot was one that he often held over her head whenever they would be stationed on the same ISD, which wouldn't be very often. Before Milo left Corellia to enlist, he and one named Sai Ventressi, were best friends. Well, "best friends" would be putting it lightly, the pair were nearly inseparable, even if she was considered a "Corellian Street Rat" by his family. Sai was an orphan growing up in the rougher areas of Corellia. She was often camped out in the abandoned shipyard that Milo frequented a lot. They both had a hobby of tinkering and shared their love of speeders and starships, they could be considered real gear-heads. However, when Milo turned thirteen, he enlisted into an Imperial Academy that his family had been in wraps with since the Empire's previous collapse, and their paths were separated... For now, at least...

Milo grew up in a rich family, as well as one with power. They had a manor in Corellia that housed his entire family. Despite his wealth, Milo frequented in the "poorer" areas as he would often be found hanging out at an abandoned shipyard with Sai, before enlisting in the Imperial Academy off-world. His surname would carry a heavy weight as he grew up in a family of admirals.
Significant events of childhood:
(19 ABY) - Meeting Sai for the first time when he was seven years old, after he got lost and separated from his mother while they were at a market, curiously wandering around until he stumbled upon a graveyard for lost ships. It wasn't long until he met Sai in the shipyard, and the rest his history.
(25 ABY) - Milo enlists into the Imperial Academy off-world, shooting for the stars to become the best pilot in the TIE Corps.
(30 ABY) After five years of grueling training and flight school, Milo graduates as one of the top cadets in his class, and is assigned to a TIE squadron. During one of his training mission, word gets out of a new Republic Fighter Pilot that had been shooting through the ranks. It was pretty useless information to the casual Imperial, but to Milo? It meant everything... It was Sai. The street-urchin that had been his only real friend growing up. His heart sank through the floor before it jumped back up and tried to escape from his mouth. It took his entire being to throw up at the information as he looked at the holopad with a trembling hand. The girl he had grown up with on Corellia was apart of the Republic, and it sounded like she was an ace if the reports were correct. A mix of emotions ran through his head. If he were to ever engage with the Republic, would he unknowingly shoot her down or vice-versa? How could he live with himself if he did? She meant everything to him, even more than flying.
The longer he was in the TIE corps, the more he realized that he didn't belong. He was living his father's fantasy, not Milo's. He wasn't even alive during the Old Empire, why was he giving his life to restore it?
Significant events of adulthood:
(31 ABY) After five years of training, Milo took part in his first battle as a real TIE pilot. Sure, he had gone through multiple battles as part of his flight school training, but he and the other cadets were mainly put in the rear guard and only very rarely saw action. But this time, it was different. He had a real squadron backing him against the Ishtari. Milo and his squad was apart of the main force that engaged against the insectoid-esc species. During the heat of the battle, Milo fought hard against the Ishtari as his squad mates fought by his wing. But as fate would have it, his crew eventually fell one by one as they were shot down. The feeling of hopelessness that consumed him as he watched his wing-mates spiral out of control before exploding. After the fog of war settled, the Empire remains stalwart, yet beaten. An empty void remained in Milo's chest. The men and women he trained and forged brotherhoods with, were all gone in a snap of a finger, and he couldn't do a thing about it. It didn't take long for the Empire to forget about his fallen wing-mates. As soon as he got to his now empty quarters, he was immediately reassigned to a new ISD; The Hammer. He would be assigned to Beta Squadron.
Alignment and attitude:
Milo remains reluctantly loyal to the Empire, although, his loyalty is on very thin ice. After the Empire seemed to not care about his old squad's death, he has a bitter attitude towards any command in the Hammer, yet will still show the proper respect a pilot needs to, so he doesn't get shot out the nearest trash shute. After Discovering that Sai is with the Republic, his loyalty and moral is even lower. He fears that he will engage her in a dogfight without even knowing it, and the last thing he wants to do is hurt her.

Hobbies
In his downtime, Milo can be found at his desk in his quarters on his holopad, sketching and drawing, as well as listening to music. He likes to spend his time alone, as he doesn't get along with his squadmates very much. He likes to tinker with machines and is often seen in the hangar fixing or tweaking his TIE to push the boundary on regulations.
Tragedies in life:
The decimation of his squad in the fight against the Ishtari. That whole battle changed Milo as he discovered what front-line combat was truly like. The once bright-eyed pilot now carried an anxious look about him and mostly kept to himself to avoid conversation if he could help it.
Phobias and allergies:
Nyctophobia, despite being in space most of the time, he still doesn't like the dark. You never know what could be lurking in the shadows. To compliment this, he also has a strong fear of the unknown. He gets anxious if details are left out in a briefing... What could they be hiding? What aren't they telling us? Milo would also certainly have PTSD after his first battle against the Ishtari. Watching his squad and multiple friendly TIEs being shot down and hearing their panicked screams through his comms nearly broke him.
Views on the Empire and the Emperor's Hammer:
Milo sees the Empire as a lost cause, a dreamers fantasy. He wishes he could have seen through his family's influence, before signing up for the Academy. He's heard about what the Empire does to deserters and traitors, and that's mostly what has kept him from jumping ship, as well as his father's image, Milo really doesn't want to let his father down, but he needs to walk in his own path. After discovering Sai was with the Republic, his loyalty was now at the lowest it could be without jumping ship.
Reason for enlisting in the Emperor's Hammer:
Milo grew up with heavy Imperial influence, but one thing he always wanted to be, was a pilot. When he was younger, he walked in his father's shadow, and wanted to live up to his name. So when the time came for him to enlist, he did without question. Now, he has his regrets...
