This battle is somehow disappointing. It started with a nice and regular plotline, following the deeds of Diamondback Squadrons and their so-called specops. The briefings are decent and so were the first 2 missions of this tour, but then mission 3 took over 30 minutes to complete. It ruined the game, plain and simple. After doing a lot of things while waiting for the slug-paced convoy to finish their multiple transfers, some idiot in my FG broke orders of waiting and killed a disabled B-W, which was my insurance policy for things being quiet. Almost failed the mission after 46 minutes into the process. Luckily, I managed to finish it. Last mission is also very tedious. Destroying 6 or 7 platforms and X7 FACs, plus a VSD and another ISD, it's just too much, even if your squadron is mustering some MISs into the fray. Another exaggeration that obliterated the initial fun. Fly elsewhere.
There is tons of waiting in mission 3, and mission 1 is nearly impossible to both kill the all the asteroid platforms (that start with double shields, who does that? They take 18 heavy rockets to kill) and still damage the platform enough that the TIE/D's are still alive to disable it. I could barely complete mission 1 with unlimited waves to get tons of heavy rockets.
I didn't see the use in ruining a decent battle with 20 mins worth of waiting, watching ships tranfer from one place to another. What was the point if not to bore the player to death and annoy him.
Ok, maybe I'm a little biased but I liked this battle :P Only problems I encountered have been the long wait in Mission #3 and the asteroid platforms in Mission #1. Asteroids in XvT have very strong shields plus in that mission they have 200% so you need hours to destroy all of them.
I liked this battle, especially missions two and four. Mission three was WAY too long, over thirty minutes! If it wasn't for that I would have given it a five.
Wide use of High AI could course some problems for some members. Bug mission 3 - The use of the 'Exist condition'[due to fact once a craft arrives it exist]does mean that the player doesn't get a warning when a Mission critical craft has been destroyed, combined this with fact that it can be over ten minutes before it comes apparent, and the long wait after the Rebels have been destoryed for the mission to be completed. May be the 'Exist' could replaced with 'Global Prevent condition'

Mission #3 needs an overhaul - 30 minutes of waiting is NOT acceptable. Repositioning the ESC a lot closer would do the trick already...
