Really fun! I hope the story continues with Wraith Squadron. The final mission was great.

Well this is just a good piece of Star Wars content. Technically good and interesting mechanics for missions that recall classic Star Wars Legends. Great and engaging missions that were all tied together. Very enjoyable to complete.

Really enjoyable throwback to a book I haven't read in probably the better part of 15 years. It was certainly reviving some plot points and I probably should have at least skimmed the major development points to get the most out of it. Doesn't help it is also my first custom played but it was an overall enjoyable treat.
M1: The only real downside of the battle. I liked what you did mixing up the craft and mission set to make the heist theme work but the large sensor net just felt tedious more than anything. It was interesting to see something actually play with the 3D nature of the map, but it was mostly for show as the task was straight-in, straight-out and just an exercise in slamming the throttle at the right time. The audio triggers on proximity to patrols and the standoff with the platform sentries were very well put together. I have to say that if you were going to put together a non-combat heist style introduction then personally I would've been more invested in just a cinematic mission where maybe the big draw is I get to watch a distraction raid or something play out instead of the mini-game mechanic of the net. Purely my opinion, but I was glad that was a one-off for this battle.
M3: Really enjoyable little skirmish with the frigates and corvettes and I loved the fact you raised the planet background so the fight felt like it occurred in the upper atmosphere. Lighting on the fighters was certainly a different sight and the mix-in with the Gray TIEs made for an interesting who's-who for snapshots. Nice lead in with the briefing and emails, however in your debrief text I think there may be a spelling error as I think you labelled both characters as the Admiral when one was supposed to be the Wedge clone.
M4: This was a treat. First time I had seen a battle with what amounted to full ISD air wing and the low moon background made for perfect cinematic backdrop. That was a messy furball and I loved every minute. Your additional Wraith/Story comms in this one were excellent too, especially during the fall of the ISD. This was a major player payoff at the end of the battle and worth it. It was a new perspective being able to hit soft points on the ISD with relative impunity due to the sheer number of friendlies drawing gun attention.
Fantastic work, you can tell this was a labour of love and with the exception of the slightly awkward pacing in M1 I had a great time.
Final parting shot: maybe it was just my settings but I couldn't get the mission pre-amble audio to come through clearly without killing all music and blasting the volume. Not sure if that's a .wav limitation or something in the scripting but thought worth mentioning.
Thanks for the fun!

Amazing XW battle. Had a great OG feel to it. All the missions look amazing.
Needs to be played after the first Wraith battle tho for the story to make more sense. Emails and backgrounds are fantastic.
Great battle saga.

PAR!
Ok, I may be biased, but I think this is a great battle. It originally was supposed to be combined with TFTC-IW 1, but I decided that EVERY TFTC battle can't be 9+ missions long, so I split the two. TFTC-IW 1 suffered because of this as it has all the setup and very little of the payoff, but its loss is this battle's gain.
I am very proud of what I did with Mission 1 in this battle, and I am happy with the more standard battle missions of 2 through 4 as well.
Please if you play it, post a review or send me a DM with your thoughts. I can only get better as a mission designer with feedback.

Introduction
-------------
The Expanded Universe has held a special place in many of our hearts and minds, me especially. One of my favorite
book series was the X-Wing Series by Michael A Stackpole and Aaron Allston. It was these stories that motivated me
to pick up X-Wing Alliance back in the early 2000's. Here I set out to make a series of battles retelling the
battles and story of the Wraith Squadron books of the X-Wing series.
This battle is based upon the story laid out in the book X-Wing: Wraith Squadron by Aaron Allston. The events of
the book have changed due to the Emperor's Hammer's involvement, but I am attempting to do a much more faithful
retelling of the events of the book than my previous battles.
Story
-------------
The “official” chronicle of the events of the fall of Warlord Zsinj say that it was brought about by a single
squadron of wash-out pilots in the New Republic, but we know better in the Emperor’s Hammer. The ingenuity and
deviousness showcased by Wraith Squadron could only have come from the superior pilots of the TIE Corps. Only after
they were successful, and due to their exceptional skill at masking their true allegiances, did the New Republic
spin the fiction that they were a squadron under Republic command.
------------
See the previous Wraith Squadron Battle (TFTC-IW 1) for the story so far.
---------------------
NOTE: To fully follow the story of the battle, and to gain a further understanding of the plot, it is important to
read the emails in the pilot’s quarters before/after each mission and all of the start and end commander’s
briefings.
