I am refiling this so I can award the medals, which were earned and decided quite some time ago.) SSSD Sovereign Bombing Run Blowout Starting Date August 1, 2002 Parties Involved SSSD Sovereign,Omega Squadron Ending Date September 30, 2002 Custom TIE missions Miscellaneous Details The Sov's "Bombing Run Blowout" includes TIE and XWA flight elements, plus fiction and graphics categories. Individual medals will be awarded in all categories, and squadrons and wings will be competiing for COM's Own recognition! TIE competition Four rounds, two weeks each. Open to all pilots. Individual medals will be awarded (IS-GW through IS-BW), but results will be gathered squadron-by-squadron and wing-by-wing. CMDRs and WCs will be responsible for gathering and cataloging their results! Results format example: Omega Squadron (4/6 - 66.7 percent participation) Laserless total - 876,543 GN Devin - 204,505 COL Sasquatch - 271,211 LC Joe - 197,890 CM Night Grue - 341,233 Round One closes Aug. 14. The Round Two mission is available here and was due Aug. 31. Download the Round Three mission here . Deadline to get your Round 3 tfr to your CMDR is Sept. 15. XWA ladder For four rounds, XWA pilots will face off in TIE Bombers to determine the champion. IS-GW through IS-BW will be awarded to the top three pilots. Squadron participation also will be tracked to help determine the overall COM's Own winners. The winner of each match must report the results to VA Proton , copying in the losing pilot. View the ladder and results here . Art competition This is a contest to hand draw or use a graphic program to create an image of a TIE Bomber. No cut-and-paste of existing images will be allowed! All entries due to VA Proton by Sept. 30. Fiction competition This is a contest to write why the TIE Bomber is a valuable craft, or even why it might be the favorite craft of the particular pilot. The top three writers will receive IS-GR through IS-BR. All entries due to VA Proton by Sept. 30. Commodore's Own The overall top squadron and wings will be awarded COM's Own recognition. Judging VA Proton will have overall responsibility for tracking results and announcing outcomes and awarding medals. He will have exclusive responsibility for tracking the XWA ladder. Squadron CMDRs and WCs will be responsible for compiling their units' results and sending them through the chain of command.
