From November 15th to December 18th, Stingray Battleteam will host a competition intended to promote the procurement of Clusters of Fire, such that the fires of Stingray may burn brighter than ever before!
Awards will be granted to the top three members of Stingray that obtain the most Clusters of Fire during this time period.
Additionally, awards will also be granted to the members of Stingray that earn Clusters of Fire across the highest number of platforms.
Only Clusters of Fires submitted during this time period will be considered.
As a reminder - Cluster of Fire submissions must be performed manually, by e-mailing a screenshot of a qualifying match to myself and the MAA. For this competition, it is vital that you include me in these e-mails, in order to ensure proper scoring (and correct platform count).
To qualify for a Cluster of Fire you must be on the winning team and above the 50% threshold according to score/kills/efficiency. Specifically:
Match configurations must follow the requirements set out in the Combat Operations Manual (https://wiki.emperorshammer.org/COO:Combat_Operations_Manual). For questions about matches in DB-specific platforms that are eligble (Jedi Knight, Jedi Academy, Star Trek Online), please reach out to myself and the MAA directly.
Please expect a minor delay in competition awards, as all Clusters of Fire must first be approved by the MAA office before they can be considered.
Top three members with the highest number of Cluster of Fires earned will be awarded a Crescent with Emerald Star, Crescent with Topaz Star, and Crescent with Quartz Star respectively.
Top three members with the largest diversity in submissions (i.e. Cluster of Fires earned across the most platforms) will also be awarded a Crescent with Emerald Star, Crescent with Topaz Star, and Crescent with Quartz Star respectively. Ties will be broken by taking into consideration number of total victories and overall platform distribution.
Competition runtime starts on the first day at 00:00:01 UTC, and ends on the last day at 23:59:59 UTC.
