the member of the squadron to come up with the best ending to the following story will receive an IS-BR Cold Chill Part I My name is Lt. Quincy Nelson, but my friends call me "Pheniox." I'm the XO of Sadhe Squadron and Flight Leader of Flight II. We are stationed in Wing V onboard the SSSD Sovereign. She is the largest and most beautiful thing I've ever seen. I remember the first time I saw her. I was in shock, this was going to be my new home. Our Squad Commander is CM Ky Terrak. He is a good leader and a good friend. When I first landed in the docking bay he was standing there with a smile on his face. Who know's what he was thinking to make him smile like that, mabey he was remembering his first time aboard. What ever it was he sure was smiling. Well I stepped out and faced CM Terrak and said "LT. Quincy Nelson reporting for duty Sir" and saluted him. He said "Welcome aboard the SSSD Sovereign Lt. Nelson and welcome to Sadhe." Then he showed me around and...well that's enough of that story, no use thinking about the past. My Squadron is the best there is. I would want them on my wing anytime and I know that they feel the same. That's what can keep a man feeling good about being in spcae. Well anyways to my story...It's been a while and I'm just now starting to settle in. We go on standard patrols now and then. But it seems like nothing ever happens. So my squadmates and I just sit around and listen to the veterians of the ship tell their battle stories. You know the funny thing about that is that no matter how many times I hear the same stories, they never get old. I guess if I had some stories I would enjoy telling them to. You know space is a strange and silent place. It seems empty, cold, and ever going. I remember growing up and just wanting to fly, now look at me, here I am flying and although I do fly for fun, I also was trained to fly & to kill. I have come to the conclusion that no matter where we go and no matter how many new races or plants we discover there will always be fighting. We will never really be able to find true peace. And there always seems to be a cold chill that comes over me when I fly. I guess the other guy's would tell you the same thing. Space can be lonely and cold without a good squadron to watch your back. WEll a while back we were in the Andoran system on a Show off mission, you know to show the might of the Empire. There were three capital ships, the SSSD Soverign , the SSD Avenger and the ISD Relentless. The SSDAvenger and ISD Relentless were there just in case anything happened. The mission went well & we started to go back to Aurora Prime, when all of a sudden we recived a distress call from the ISD Vengance in the Ralorian Sector(a small and sparsley populated system outside the Corellian Triad). So right away we all jumped to light speed. When we arrived there the ISD Vengance was floating there lifeless. As hard as we tried to hail her we got no response. We sat there in our flight suits in the brifing room as we prepared for the worst. As the brefing went on they anounced that "Sade Squadron" Flight I (from the Sovereign) would escort Troop Transport "Foxfire" (from the Avenger) and the Rescure Transports "Clean Sweep" I and II to the ISD Vengance. Sadhe Squadron Flight II would wait in the hanger in case of trouble. As Sadhe Flight I and transports launched I could hear the fear in there voices. It took them about 10 minunets to get to the ISD Vengance. The radio was silent. It seemed like forever before the first voice come over the radio, "Troop Transport Foxfire has docked with the ISD Vengance." At the moment the transports docked there was a great explosion. The radio filled with voices saying "The Vengance is gone, We lost the Vengance. Troop Transport Foxfire come in please, Clean Sweep this is the Sovereign come in." As much as I wanted them to anwser everyone knew they were gone. The lauch cheif came over the radio "Sadhe II launch." As we took off the cold chill I told you about earlier filled in the air.
