Description:

Phase 0: Name the Competition Come up with a name for this competition. Most creative and inspiring name will win. You can submit as many names as you want, however flooding my inbox will make me cranky, so try to be reasonable and put a little effort into your submissions. :) There won't be able medals awarded for this phase of the competition, but consider it extra credit points. ;) Phase 1a: Single Player Flying - Participation This is a simple version of an FCHG race. The 2 pilots who gain the most participation points (by submitting the most missions in the given time) will win 1st and 2nd place in this phase. The only restriction is that you cannot submit battles or missions you've already flown. Awards are IS-SW and IS-BW. Phase 1b: Single Player Flying - Score Pilots will fly one XWA Battle and one XWA Free Mission. The pilot who has the highest scoring plt file for the battle will win 1st place. The highest scoring Free mission submission will win 2nd place. If the person with the battle high score also has the free mission high score, then the 2nd highest free mission scorer will receive 2nd place. The battle and mission will assigned at the begining of the competition. Awards are IS-SW and IS-BW. Phase 1c: Single Player Flying - Low Score Pilots will fly one XWA Battle and one XWA Free mission. The pilot who submits the lowest scoring plt file for the battle will win 1st. The pilot who submits the lowest scoring plt file for the Free mission will win 2nd. If the same pilot wins for both the battle and the mission, then the 2nd lowest scoring pilot for the free mission will get 2nd place. Scores will only count as long as the mission was successfully completed and no EH rules are broken, specifically those concenring cheating. Just to clarify, the Tactical Office considers blowing up your own ships cheating when used to get higher scores. Since the object is to get lower scores, this shouldn't cause any problems. I personally have no problems with you blowing up whatever you want to get lower scores. The cheating rules I'm concerned with deal with blatant acts like editing pilot or mission files. The battle and mission will assigned at the begining of the competition. Awards are IS-SW and IS-BW. Phase 2a: Multiplayer Flying - Participation The pilots who successfully fly the most MP matches, regardless of score, will win this category. The only requirement is that the match was completed successfuly and there was a winner announced. This will recognize those who are giving it their best, even if they don't think they can win. Matches can be made any time, not just during official TC events, just as long as both pilots submit the results to me via email. Note that you can only fly the same pilot a certain number of times. Basically once one pilot wins 2 matches, those two can no longer play one another. The maximum number of times 2 people can play one another is 3, which would mean one person wins the 1st match, the other person wins the 2nd match, and one of them wins the 3rd. Awards are IS-SW and IS-BW. Phase 2b: Multiplayer Flying - Score The 2 pilots who have the most matches WON will win this category. This will encourage everyone to not only try to fly, but to put in the extra effort to really do a good job. Similar rules apply to 2b that are listed in 2a. You may only fly a person a maximum of three times, until you've won twice or lost twice. Scores must be submitted by both parties for full credit. Awards are IS-SW and IS-BW. Phase 3: Make the WC Laugh This phase is sort of open ended. Pilots can submit whatever they want, providing it's appropriate and doesn't violate EH Bylaws. The only thing required is the submission has to make the WC laugh. It can be a funny picture, story, joke, movie, sound file, etc. The limits on the type of submission depends on the limits of your imagination. The WC will choose the two funniest submissions and the winners will receive an IS-SR and IS-BR respectively. Phase 4: Fiction This will involve writing a short story based on a topic released by the WC. Stories should be no longer than 1000 words. Awards will be IS-SR and IS-BR. The topic will be released at time of competition. Phase 5: Wing Banner Graphic The object of this phase is to design a new Wing banner graphic. While I think the one we have now is nice, I don't think it looks like a banner-type image. I would like to have something resembling a seal, patch, emblem, banner, etc. Not just a picture with some flying ships and text. The winning submission will receive an IS-SR, and will be credited on the Wing IX and Relentless websites for your work. Second play will receive an IS-BR. Phase 6: Paint the COM Green For this phase, your objective will be to subdue RA Kalar and paint him green. The shade of green is your choice, though I prefer bright green or puke green. The pilot who submits the winning green COM will be summarily shot for gross insubordination, but will also receive a lifetime's su
