Competition dates: 2021-08-15 - 2021-11-14
Subgroup: TIE Corps
Units involved: ISDII Challenge
Description: The Challenge is a great place to chat, play games, and even write stories with one another. But sometimes a little bit of rest and solo reflection time can be healthy, too. If you can find your way back to your bunks through the messes of bottles, of course.

If you’re an aspiring artist of words looking to flex your figurative finageries or simply want to try your hand at some harmonious lyrical happenings, you’re invited to prove the Challenge’s Poetic Proficiency.

Your task is simple. Every round, a general prompt will be given about something on the Challenge, her pilots, her crew, her history, or sometimes more Star Wars in general along with a poem type. You then write your heart and soul, or liver and Chalquilla, into a poem of the given type which will then be reviewed by your fellow competitors and a winner elected by vote. The stage is set, the stars spinning soliloquies, and the floor is yours. Practice your picturesque poetry and may the best be laid to rest and reflect.

There will be 6 rounds running from 2:01 AM EST Sunday, to 2:00 AM EST Sunday 2 weeks later, e.g., August 15th to the 29th. This is to get as many people involved as possible and give you all the time you need to get those Creative Challenge minds a churning.

The winner of each round’s voting will receive an IS-SR with the runner-up earning an IS-BR. At the end of the competition, a Poetic Champion of Words will be chosen by behind-the-scenes judges for the best overall prose in all metrics by which it can be measured. This Champion will then earn themselves an IS-GR.
Competition awards:

IS-GR/SR/BR as described below

Competition runtime starts on the first day at 00:00:01 UTC, and ends on the last day at 23:59:59 UTC.
