This competition will be broken down into 3 separate events; Scholar, Pilot, and Creation. There will be an opportunity for rewards in every event, as well as an overall incentive for combined effort in all 3. Details for each section are as follows. Scholar Being a Training Office run competition, this event will be the easiest to participate in and earn rewards. Each pilot will earn points for passing IWATS Courses. 1 point for passing the course with a score of 89% or less, 2 points for passing the course with a score of between 90% and 99%, and 3 points for passing the course with a perfect 100%. Keep in mind that you are allowed to retake a course you previously took for this competition, but you will only receive points if you get a score higher than your previous score. At the end of the competition, all points will be added up. An IS-PR will be given to the scholar with the highest amount of points. IS-SR and IS-BRs will be given to 2nd and 3rd place respectively. There is no need to submit anything to me personally; I will see the database messages when you complete your courses. Pilot Pilots will fly either one or all of the designated battles. The scores from each designated battle you fly will be added up to a final score that will be used to determine who wins. An IS-PW will be given to the highest overall score. You may only submit one entry at a time. Entries will be graded on a point scale from 1 to 20. The person with the highest point value entry at the end of the competition will receive an IS-PR. Training Officer’s Own title Lastly, I have calculated a system to award a unit with a special title. As Training Officer, my duties require me to constantly travel between the different ships of the fleet. As such, I am very rarely ever at my home office on the Sovereign for any large amounts of time. So, I have come up with a point system that will be used for this competition to determine which ship I would like to have my home office on. Each ship (or elite squadron) will receive 1 point for every entry in the Triathlon. (Scholars obviously have the upper hand here.) In addition, a pilot that achieves first place in an event earns an additional 5 points for his ship. 2nd place earns 4, and 3rd place earns 3 each. At the end of the competition, all point values will be added up and the overall winning Ship or Elite Squadron will be able to call themselves the “TO’s Own”, which is where my personal office will be located. The competition’s deadline is the last day of this month. I may consider making this a monthly recurring competition if it interest is high enough.
