…Gytheran decided it would be a great idea to start pulling off some spins in his TIE Fighter. His bowtie shaped fighter begins listing lazily to the left, followed by a 360 degree spin that would make Anakin Skywalker proud.

“Utinii!!! Look at this thing move!!” shouted Gytheran.

“Hey man watch out!!” yelled Ranger.

Gytheran’s TIE narrowly misses Ranger’s wingtip as Gytheran flies right above him.

“Sorry man, I'm just having too much fun. There's not a thing happening on this patrol and i'm getting bored.” replied Gytheran.

“Control to Lambda 2-4, what do you think you’re doing? You’re not authorized to break formation, return back to your patrol route”

“Oh crap, I’m in trouble…” thought Gytheran.

“Sir yes sir!” replied Gytheran.

Just as Gytheran was returning to formation, three spacecraft and a shuttle hyperspace into the area.

“Uh, who is that?” asked Ranger.

“Lambda 2-4 to Control, we’re reporting three ships and a shuttle, should we engage?” asked Gytheran.

“Negative. Do not engage unless fired upon, inspect the craft so we can obtain their ship signatures.” directed Command.

“Roger” said Ranger and Gytheran.

Both pilots fly towards the unknown craft, in order to be in an inspectable range, they must be within 50 meters.

“Alright, I’m just about there..hey they’re shooting at us!!” yelled Ranger.

“Quick evasive maneuvers!” demanded Gytheran.

Ranger disengages and pulls an aileron roll to avoid the attacking craft. He avoids the blue lasers shooting at him.

“Gytheran, they're shooting ions at us, I think they want to disable our ships!” yelled Ranger.

“Don’t let those lasers hit you, we can’t afford to let our craft be disabled otherwise we’ll be in trouble. Oh no!! Ahh!!” screamed Gytheran.

Gytherans TIE is bolted with ion blasts, sending electrical pulses throughout his systems, disabling his ship.

“Dank ferrik, Gytheran hold on I’ll save you!” yelled Ranger.

Ranger shoots back at the enemy starships, destroying one ship in the process but not before being fired upon in retaliation. He is within range of the enemy fighters and Command receives the ship data.

“Control, this is Lambda 3-2. Lambda 2-4’s ship is disabled, no word from him, I’ve taken one ship down but I’m under heavy attack. Requesting reinforcements as soon as…AHHHHH!!!” yelled Ranger.

Ranger’s ship is blasted with ions leaving his ship disabled. The enemy crafts retreat to escort the shuttle which begins a boarding procedure. Both pilots are captured and taken aboard the enemy shuttle.
