SQUADRON NEWS

Welcome to my first Kappa Squadron Report as Squadron Commander. This week was about adjusting to the new position, starting two fleetwide competitions for winter-themed creative submissions for Kappa banner and fictions. Two weeks to go in both of them.

A flying competition, Kappa Race to 25 has been launched this week, as well. I challenge the squad to collect 25 FCHG and LoC points as fast as you can. Winner takes an IS-SW, all pilots who reach 10 points earn an IS-BW each. The first missions were already flown!

LT Sparky has gone mysteriously missing since valiantly taking up all the mending and administration jobs WC Frown has given him. However, I think the Warrior nametag looks shinier than before, so he might have already complete some tasks with visible results. Anyone who sees a misplaced great pile of paper or some cleaning material, be sure to check out if our Lieutenant is alright beneath all this much burden.

Flight 2 Leader position is open. I am accepting applications from within the squadron until Wednesday. Should no one apply, the position will be opened to the whole Fleet.

A new IWATS course has been launched about Star Conflict. Life-long self-education is key. Check out the course to earn educational accolades!

I am planning to take steps to be able to update (or bribe some editor to update…) our squadron’s Wiki sections. Any Kappa members who would like to add some personal pilot background, start preparing your materials!

Our citations’ number stands at 5. Increased by 1 since last week!

TIE Corps membership is tallying 81 loyal pilots including top brass.

CLOSING THOUGHTS

I am happy to see buzz around the squad, and glad that all the winter festivity preparations does not entirely keep people away from the Corps and our Squad. Looking forward to hearing from you next week, too!
