looked at the Combat Simulator scores for his squadron and sighed; they
were a good bunch aside from one or two personalities that clashed, and
as a combat unit were doing well. However, several of them treated the
new Combat Operations Office simulators as little more than toys - not
to be taken seriously, and their performance was suffering for it. Worse, it was dragging the squadron down. Stryker rubbed the bridge of his nose between his forefinger and thumb and scrunched his eyes closed; there were rumours of inter-squadron simulations on the horizon, and he refused to give the rest of the First Recon Division another reason to mock his unit -they would show the other squadrons who they were and what they could do. He just needed to convince them they could do it, first... |

little late but our first order of business is to congratulate our ISP
and honorary Firebird, SA Lap'Lamiz, on the birth of his son! Second, Colonel NiksaVel has been working his little blue butt off making recruitment posters to attract more Alphabet Fighter fans interested in the EH and get us to our goal of two or more squadrons! I look forward to seeing his results! Finally, medals have been awarded! Two Silver Stars, three Bronze Stars, three Palpatine Crescents and an Imperial Security Medal across a squadron of twelve show just how awesome you guys are - I'm a very proud CMDR, and I look forward to seeing how the rest of this month works out! |

of last Sunday, we retained a roughly 50pt lead over Tempest in High
Admiral
Dempsey's competition; I'm hoping we can either retain or extend that
lead and hold onto it until month's end. We get a lot of flak from the
other squadrons for flying Alphabet Fighters, this is our first chance
to show them who we are and what we're capable of. Which means I need to get off War Thunder and start playing proper games again... COL Stryker |
