Welcome to this week's Warrior report. It was my great honor to recommend Sin Squadron CMDR Earnim Branet's promotion to General this week. I can't say enough good things about General Branet, but I'm going to try anyway. When I first arrived on the Warrior two years ago today (19 May is my Warrior anniversary), GN Branet was the first person to greet me.

I quickly learned that Branet is a genuine, good-natured person and a truly dedicated pilot. I rely on him to welcome pilots new and old to the Warrior and the Corps-at-large, like he welcomed me. I was relieved (literally!) when he stepped up to take command of Sin when I was named COM, and I'm thankful that he has kept to his word: keeping the name of the squadron in high regard. To have a leader or a pilot as active and dedicated as Branet would be a boon to any squadron. To have both in the same person—and for such an impressive amount of time—is something special. I hope you enjoy your promotion, General. You have earned it!

This is truly a week for celebrating, because SL8c8 successfully completed the TCCORE exam and earned a promotion to Lieutenant Commander. Congrats, LCM SL8c8!

The TCCOM is still healing up from his brush with the Warrior's hull, but he found time to visit my bargain basement/Frankenstein laboratory/chop shop VIP hangar this week. We exchanged some ideas regarding the replacement for his TIE Guardian. More details to follow.

LC Nile Rosenau's new comp, The SC: Karma Collective was approved. It's a pretty straightforward comp: blow stuff up in Star Conflict and send Nile a before and after screenshot of your karma rating. In the immortal words of LC Rosenau, 'no pressure from L33t groups looking 4 the fat lootz!'

May's Escort Flight competitions are underway. There are already three Warriors on the SP Kill Boards (not counting your humble WarCOM) and five on the MP Kill Boards. Last month there were more pilots than escort spots, so keep flying, pilots.

• Waiting on an order of buttonhead screws for my custom starfighter scale model
• Finished Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. On to The Goblet of Fire!

The only way forward is through.
