CPT Rando took home the top awards in both competitions for XvT-TC 146: Securing the Line, which I guess I'm not terribly surprised by! Rando's been knocking down any challenge we try to put in his way, he's quite the competitor. One thing I notice he hasn't completed yet is TIE-TC 244: Lord of the TIEs. I'd be very interested to see what he thinks about that one. Having said that, I'm reminded that I owe LC Tempest a review for what was surely a labor of love in creating it.
Medals of Communication for July were awarded this week, very sorry for the delay and I've got a plan to avoid that in the August evaluation process... which is already a little behind schedule. Leaders: If you haven't turned in your evaluation yet, get on it! The MoCs are listed below and I've been advised that my penance will be watching the Star Wars Holiday Special and The Last Jedi back to back on a loop. Punishments at the highest level of command are intense!

CPT Rando was the fifth pilot to fly XvT-TC 146: Securing the Line and he established a new set of high scores for the battle and all of its missions. As a result, he took first place in the competition we ran to celebrate the release of the new battle. Excellent work!

To celebrate the release of XvT-TC 146: Securing the Line, CPT Rando's was judged to be the superior of the two reviews submitted for the battle during its first month in the Battle Center. One judge's comment was that Rando's review was the one he 'would appreciate most as a pilot about to fly the mission'. Another judge wrote that of the two reviews, Rando's 'speaks more to my heart'. Fantastic job!
